I can't see how anyone can compare Obama/Biden to McCain/Palin. we came from euro. speaking a different lanuage is fine. in order to UNITE we must be able to communicate as best as possible. this is most easily achieved if we all speake the same lanuage. allowing 100 different languages to be our 1st language makes it nearly impossible to communicate and thus divided. we cannot stand up to our goverenments wrong doing adiquately or timely if we cant easily relate to one another. perhaps a government plot to keep us divided???

I can't see how anyone can compare Obama/Biden to McCain/Palin. Obama has presented himself as a person who understands the issues, understands what needs to be done, surrounds himself with the best of advisers, and picked a running mate who is not only smart and experienced but who can help him as well. McCain stumbles, bumbles, and grumbles. Seems lost a lot of times, and picked an idiot for a running mate who answers every question with a blizzard of words.

what's the deal with the background music? I thought that it was a little annoying. Obama/Biden have clear view of what needs to be done with Iraq and with foreign policy in general. McCain doesn't have a clear view on what needs to be done with foreign policy and he has resorted to simply attacking Obama and is trying to scare the American people into voting for him. "taking action" hasn't exactly made our lives better, it's probably made it worse actually because we've killed thousands of civilians and now the people on the ground don't want to help us because we've killed their families. What a big conspiracy of the media. By the way America is a melting pot. It was founded on immigrants. They where speaking spanish as well as english when this country was founded. So I don't see the big issue even if it is true. And maybe that is why the media doesn't care to cover it either. As far as lesser of 2 evils. I don't think Obama is. I think he is a great candidate. Sure he may not be perfect but I think what he stands for and for many other issues I don't have space to cover.

commendable! the problem i have is i feel it is extremly important to have a single language. even with this there is too much miscommunication. english speaking people ultimatly conqured this county and too many languages only makes us that more divided. diversity is one of the things that made this country great but it must be done on a "common ground". i dont see how me forcing my orignial tongue on a society that is well established will keep the glue of that society intact.

I hear what you are saying. This country was founded on the idea of freedom. If you take away somebody's right to speak what ever language they choose then you are taking away their freedom. But if you're suggesting that we just claim that english is the first language then it is sort of pointless because people will choose what ever language they want to speak anyway. .

we came from euro. speaking a different lanuage is fine. in order to UNITE we must be able to communicate as best as possible. this is most easily achieved if we all speake the same lanuage. allowing 100 different languages to be our 1st language makes it nearly impossible to communicate and thus divided. we cannot stand up to our goverenments wrong doing adiquately or timely if we cant easily relate to one another. perhaps a government plot to keep us divided???
