I use exfoliating facial sponges from wal-mart, they're $1 and AMAZING! I use one for my face and another for my body, and my skin was completely perfect in like a week. Also, use mens razors and shaving cream, they are SOOOO much better.

I think that on the body scrub when it says walnut shell, it isn't the scent. It is what they put inside. The walnut shell is ground up and used to exfoliate because it isn't too rough or too soft. It's kind of like the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. It has walnut shell as an exfoliant in it.

if you want something like Neutrogena Acne Stress Control exfoliating scrub to change it up by neutrogena makes another scrub that is a deep clean version. I found that one got the black heads out better than the stress control one
you can replace all this shit with a bottle of safflower oil. Your shaves last longer and safflower oil is absorbed by skin better than any other oil.
To exfoliate make a paste of granulated sugar and safflower oil....scrub your body witfhit and rinse it off....very soft skin for pennies and natural.

Yeah, our body sheds a lot of skin, but it actually gets rid of it itself. The body is an amazing little thing that fixes a lot of problems all by itself. You don't have to rub yourself with rocks for your skin to be "healthy". My skin is perfectly beautiful and bright without vigurously exfoliating.

When I used the products I actually got acne, hyper pigmentation, and dryness more often than I do without the products. The Vegan diet is all I 'use' now.
i really like burt's bees cranberry & pomegranate sugar scrub for all over my body lately. it has actual fruits in it and smelys very fruity : ) maybe you would be interested to check that out. i can highly recommend this stuff.
a cheap alternative to exfoliate your lips is everytime after you brush your teeth and rinse out your tooth brush, rub the brush over your lips! I do this everyday and apply chapstick right after. my husband always comments on how soft my lips are! no extra product required!
For the first item you had mentioned...I dont think they meant it to be "walnut scented" I think the exfoliating particles are probably very finely milled walnut shells :)
Lush also has lip exfoliant too and I really like them. It will definitly last a long long time and they have different really good tasting flavors too!

The EOS shave cream works well dry. I love mine. I have the one that is in the purple bottle - jasmine and something I think. The pomegranate one sounds good too!
The scent of that scrub may not be 'walnut shell' it may just have crushed walnut shells in it. One of mine has that in it so yeah :) love your hair too, looks amazing!
I love using the Korres moisturizer too. My skin is so soft. I also love to use the new Carmex Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm. It feels like satin and doesn't have that normal carmex smell, lol.
Lush also makes lip exfoliants out of sugar, they're yummy. As for body exfoliants I love the ones with Dead Sea salt and oil, they're really good and less scratchy than walnuts :) Oh, and sugar + lemon juice makes a great face exfoliant too, it clears up blemishes.
I might need to try that body scrub! I have really dry skin on my body because of a medical condition, and I get this really nasty flakiness on my hands and feet (almost like Eczema).
I think walnut shell refers to the type of exfoliant that is being used in the product, not the scent. So the gritty stuff in the body scrub is probably made out of crushed walnut shells.
Skintamite's cream shaves are so effing good! They are like a lotion too and they leave your skin softer then any lotion I've ever tried and the smell is like no other! It leaves your pits smelling like heaven on earth, lol. Also, a lot of makeup companies have lip exfoliants. You just have to search for them.

my cousin is a dermotologist, and she says walnut shell in skin products is reallly bad for your skin and it scratches it up alot. not scratches that you can see, but tiny little scratchs all over where you scrub it. i think you're supposed to use more rounder little exfoliants so it doesnt scratch you :)

Try to buy products that are sulfate free and the main ingredients are products you can identify.

The scent of that scrub may not be 'walnut shell' it may just have crushed walnut shells in it. One of mine has that in it so yeah :) love your hair too, looks amazing!

I love using the Korres moisturizer too. My skin is so soft. I also love to use the new Carmex Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm. It feels like satin and doesn't have that normal carmex smell, lol.

Lush also makes lip exfoliants out of sugar, they're yummy. As for body exfoliants I love the ones with Dead Sea salt and oil, they're really good and less scratchy than walnuts :) Oh, and sugar + lemon juice makes a great face exfoliant too, it clears up blemishes.

I might need to try that body scrub! I have really dry skin on my body because of a medical condition, and I get this really nasty flakiness on my hands and feet (almost like Eczema).

I think walnut shell refers to the type of exfoliant that is being used in the product, not the scent. So the gritty stuff in the body scrub is probably made out of crushed walnut shells.

Skintamite's cream shaves are so effing good! They are like a lotion too and they leave your skin softer then any lotion I've ever tried and the smell is like no other! It leaves your pits smelling like heaven on earth, lol. Also, a lot of makeup companies have lip exfoliants. You just have to search for them.

my cousin is a dermotologist, and she says walnut shell in skin products is reallly bad for your skin and it scratches it up alot. not scratches that you can see, but tiny little scratchs all over where you scrub it. i think you're supposed to use more rounder little exfoliants so it doesnt scratch you :)

@ohshesavegetarian Ohh my hair isn't that coarse and I don't have a lot, but I do shave my legs and armpits everyday or every other day and use soap instead of shaving cream a lot, which I heard dulls the razor faster, soo I dunno.

OMG NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER Shave your legs dry with or without product. That is a BIG promise from a shaving cream. I did it once, had a BAD TERRIBLE HORRIBLE reaction. Well legs went dry, itchy, flacky, red blochy. Urgh!!! Please don't try it. But nice video :) x

in my computer lit. class, i had to do the MOST pointless assignment of recording all of my living & school expenses for college (i was in 8th grade at the time) on microsoft excel to learn how to "properly" use the software (but i didn't learn crap in that class) & he looked through it all when he was grading & wen he saw that I just bought a big pack of razors from Costco, he said I would have to buy like 3 packs 2 be realistic and i said, well i just replace it once a month & he said

(cont.) you're supposed to replace you razor at least once a week. my wife changes her's everyday. and i said, "well, is your wife a BEAR? because if she has to change her razor everyday, let alone USE a razor everyday, then that's her problem, not mine." i know that was pretty rude of me but he just laughed (& took off points but whatever) but srsly? i was in 8th grade at the time and i STILL only have to shave my legs like 1 every week! my underarms like every 3!
