Surah Ar-Rum was revealed in 615 CE. Battle of Nineveh was in 627 CE. 30:4 says that within a period of 3-9 years (arabic: bida) the Byzantines will be victorious. How many years is that. 12 years. So unless the Quran was talking about the Battle of Issus (622 CE) it doesn't live up to its prophecy. If it's talking about Issus, it's true.
