Plenty of longboards out there now. Can't beat Sector 9 for me, but it depends what you want. Personally I like 46" - 48", with flex. Most important is get quality trucks like Randals or Holey's and good quality big soft wheel. Again Sector 9 do great wheels, but then Abec 11 and Orangatang are top quality too. Have fun dude, you'll love it.

I'm considering buying a longboard or cruzer, mostly cruzer. I just want a board where I can cruise around without falling off because of some crack, or bumpy street. Can you recommend me any? And is the Screaming foot any good? Oh and this video is beautifully film and edited.

@MiaSunshine100 screaming foot is good but i find it awkward because its a different width on the whole board. like the back end is thin and the front is really chunky. i got the landshark and santa cruz mini haka. the haka is my favorite, because its pretty small but has a nice tail and nose so you can ollie it real easy and it's just a lot nicer to cruise round on. most cruzers are generally pretty good at rolling over a crack or bump either way.

@phoebeisdelish landshark is harder to do tricks on, because the tail is tiny and there is barely any nose. the mini haka is sweet because it's got a big tail and a nice nose, it's just a little narrow.

@infamousmaggot never ridden one bro. i'd totally recommend the Santa Cruz Mini Haka though. it's another board i've got. its a few inches longer than a normal deck and a tiny bit thinner but has a nice tail and nose. once you get used to popping it it's pretty easy to do tricks on and has the nice soft wheels for riding over cracks and pebbles.

@cdgaillard when i first started skating i got speed wobbles like crazy, but once you learn to carve real smooth, the speed isn't an issue because you can just counteract it real nice and just carve out.

@pmpstik prefer the landshark. i just am not that keen on the difference in width on the screaming foot. the tail end is narrow and the nose is super wide and i just didn't really ever get used to that. the better thing about the screaming foot though is that it has more nose and tail to it than the landshark.

@OrionLong landshark is the easiest thing on the planet to skate. i sucked skating normal boards, but cruisers got me really into longboarding. landshark is great for city skating, just getting from a to b. it's a lot of fun and you can get some real good speed without any effort at all. it's definitely a good purchase.
