  • Hi, i am 15, and recently bought a yfz450. i have rode quads all my life but only desert. i mostly ride dirt bikes at the track. Now that i got a 450 i would love to start riding at a track, the only problem is, i don't know which tracks allow quads. do you know which tracks do allow quads to practice in southern california?

  • Racetown 395 in Adelanto loves quads, Cahuilla Creek MX in Anza, Milestone in Riverside, Pala Raceway.....

  • is that a open class?

  • yup! I race in the 30+ Vet Class, there are classes for all ages and types of bikes. The 2008 series should be up at RaceTown's website in about two weeks. I will recording all of the classes and their heats. If you want a free video of the last race of 2007, let me know and I'll mail you a copy.

  • sounds good... does what kind of quad are u on in that video?

  • I was racing a 1986 Honda 250R. I didnt know any better and I was just starting out, so I had some huge HD's in the front and back which I believe made up for the old suspension. The rear shock still had a little bit of bounce and the front shocks were stock and bleeding! The bike was still at 249cc. I just traded the six pack rack for some nerf bars and off I went! Goes to show that it doesnt take too much money to have a great freaking time!
