  • wow steve valiquette actually playing well? oh its a video game, nevermind.

  • @rangersin06 At the time Valliquette was pretty good against the flyers and the Mapleleafs.

  • what difficulty is this?

  • What's the name of the song in the beginning? :)

  • Running Free, a song that came with the game.

  • it's " the running free" by coheed and cambria

  • It depends, it's usually always better to shoot high since the goalie is always looking to protect from any low shots. However mix it up from time to time to fool the goalie. Though shooting high is recommended

  • so from the point, shud i take low slap shots or low wrist shots? nd does it really fool the goalie?

  • there is something in this game where you can check an opposing goalies attributes before the game. Stance, where his weak spot is. It helps me!

  • k thanks

  • does the goalie get tired if u shoot alot of shots at him or no?

  • Not sure about that one. It doesn't seem so. Not sure how endurance works with the goalies.

  • o ok it wud be alot more realistic if the goalie gets tired nd starts giving up goals if alot of pressure comes over him

  • nd how come u shoot with that wrst shot that goes behind ur back? it is more accurate?

  • You mean a loaded up wrister. It gives the wrist shot more power.

  • yea thats wat i mean does it have better chance at goin in then a regular wrister?

  • Wrist shot is already more accurate than any of the other shots. The loaded up wrister gives you a bit more power so you can beat the reaction time of the goalie.

  • o ok but lets say i shoot low at the goalie, do i have a better chance at beatin him then shooting up at him?

  • nd one more thing, do u use Behind The Net stratgedy?

  • Yes

  • when i change lines with B, do i jus leave the line i want highlighted or do i press something?

  • Yes leave the line highlighted.

  • so thats how u always have guys in back of the net to get a pass do u have all ur lines behind the net? cuz i have all my lines as Overload but im not sure if i shud change it

  • I use a mix of overload and behind net. If I have a playmaker like Gomez then I use behind net. A dangler and I will use overload. A powerforward and I will use crash net.

  • so for behind the net, u put ur whole line that gomez is on as playmakers? for overload, u put all danglers, nd for crash the net, u put all powerforwards? or is it jus one for each stratgedy?

  • No I leave everyone they way they are. I just taylor the line strategy to player type of my center or winger who is one of those 3, usually the best player on the line. I like to put snipers and powerforwards together. I like to put danglers and playmakers together. I keep snipers and danglers apart.

  • o ok so on my line 1, i got gomez, naslund nd zherdev, shud i put gomez as playmaker, nd zherdev nd gomez as powerforwards or 2 snipers?

  • I don't change player types, I leave the way they are. Only change I make is how I match my lines. I would join gomez and naslund on one line, then put dubinsky and zherdev on one line, then put drury and dawes on another.

  • o ok but how bout the the third guy on the line? nd u jus leave them the way they r ill try that
