  • I've been in extra things, TIME FOR REAL ACTING! :D

  • @eHow I'm 12 years old and have no experience. I really want to be an actress, however I'm young and have no idea how acting business works. I don't know where to go and to start. What do I do?

  • Thank u for the tips, what is the best age to starts go to agents. ? And if i'm not from US.

  • From 2:00. That's where he sounds like an arrogant snob.

  • I dont have expiernece as an actor but how can I get into shows if i have no expierence

  • Hey Everyone Check Out My Channel I Do Monologues : )

  • yah that helped a lot not really!

  • Extra!!! I would want to work as an extra in that situation your right! I will easily pay attention and learn from the professionals... where could i go or find a site to apply for this job?

  • Is it bad if im so emotional when it comes to me tearing up on sad parts of a movie??? But yet i already watched it like a 100x's lol

  • @jimmyjohnson691 thannkkk you. FINALLY someone said it! :)

  • @jimmyjohnson691 so are you

  • this is like the guy from due date hahaha

  • finally answer to my problem..

but i cant control my voice..

  • This is some awesome advice on this video. No matter what age you are, getting work is always the hardest part. I've been trying for four years, and finally got my big break - you can check out my journey to my own acting career at my blog, just search for acting-career-info(dot)com

I try to give as much advice about my own experiences as possible.

  • @Mogli2nd2none yes but, most people dont ever try all the stuff this guys said in this video, they just dont bother with it, so no its not shit, this is actually the best advice any young wannbe actor could get, because u gotta do all of it if u wanna be an actor.

  • Excellent advice.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • i would like to become a acter but i think i would need more practice but im veary good at it

  • uhm no offence to this guy and his advice, but from what i've heard in interviews from the most talented actors ...most of them just happened , like if you REALLY have talent within you ....some great actors just dropped out of college and went for it ....no head shots no voice overs and "extras" ....if you feel it just go for it, take risks people. :)

  • i might do acting in my school, but i also want to do sports which interferes with acting in our school play and one act what should i do?

  • I think I could be a "extra" but I have a "gas" problem. Is being stinky a problem? I'm not sure, so I'm asking a pro: you? My 8X10 has me farting. Is that prudent? You're the pro... let me know.... wow

  • Thanks for the advice the headshot thing is a bit obvious though. I live in Hollywood so I see celebs regularly. Some fav spots to chill at are The Laugh Factory, Magic Castle on Franklin and of course the Ivy, a top hot spot! ;)

  • Interesting. Twittering this. Thanks.

  • i am from cyprus and my dream is to be on hollywood one day but is sooo difficult and sooo expensive...;/

  • we shared our personal experiences about this topic, too :]

  • thanks for the advice!!

  • I have fairly good amount of experience, well to me I do, but im young. Wouldn't that have an effect on anything?

  • Euh !!! Be an extra ? No ........ way !!!

  • Being an extra is important for all actors. You will learn many things about the movie set and stuff. Also, three days on a set as an extra will earn you a SAG card. Without SAG card there is no point of moving to Hollywood. Matt Damon, Charlize Theron and Ben Affleck were all extras.

  • @AnnaSargsyan what do you mean with "extra"?

  • Comment removed

  • @0prajna0 they werent main characters they were people in the backround

  • i wish this guy would stop trying to act, and just give advice. he gave advice, but it was all common-sense stuff. you know what would have made his acting good in this little clip? if he gave himself an actable objective. but really...he didn't name on casting office, or even point anyone in a relatively specific direction...lame. all i learned was that this guy had a yellow tape that had his name on it from the 1980's.

  • @afmode301 ive seen him before

  • ok so lets say we want to be an extra, does that mean we dont need to take classes and stuff?

  • I'm 10 and I REALLY want to get into Hollywood. I want to act comedy, and THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING ADVICE!

  • im a student but im a great actor ive been on some major youtube videos but i havent been in any movies got any advice for that
