The Sea Diamond used to be a Cruiseferry (a ferry with cruise ship characteristics) before the '06 refit that fully converted it into a cruise ship. If it didn't have a pool in it as a Ferry, it did after the refit.

I was on the ship...and let me tell you I got NOTHING. I lost $7,000 US Dollars worth of items and have only been compensated about $3,000 worth. It took us 3 hours to get off the ship.

I assume that their cabin was near the impact spot. my father is a sails man and i know that the cabin doors of these ships are shield automaticly when there is water inside to prevent further catastrophe..

If that happened I can't imagine a worst way to loose my life..
