Are these some of the men who performed SuperSax Plays Bird or all of them under a different name? I have this LP from years back and it sure sounds like their rendition. I loved it. A mon modeste niveau je tiens aussi le bar dans l'orchestre d'harmonie de Calais et en ce moment ça travaille très dur pour préparer le coucours qui nous permettra d'accéder en honneur avec entre autres un morceau particulièrement difficile pour les saxs : "Funky people" d'Antoine Hervé.
It is not exactly the Supersax arrangement, because not edited; I had to arrange it by myself on the same way than Supersax: pick up Bird's solo and harmonize it in "close voicing", with alto lead and baritone playing in 8ve.
that is just amazing - they all sound great wow the lead altoist sounds really great! a great tribute to one of the great geniuses of music. thankyou Thouveninpascal for these excellent videos!

Excellent arrangement, excellent musicianship. Love the occasional use of 5 part harmony (bari not doubling the lead)

merci du compliment; le sax. bar. était à l'orchestre de l'Armée de l'Air (comme l'alto 2 et et le ténor 1). Il s'appelle Jean Luc Rochon.
