@charlieshakeview Most Indians learn 3 languages in school, their native/state language, national language which is Hindi and the third language being English. So, if I meet any Indian anywhere, I start conversation either in Hindi or English and if we are from same state then we switch over to our state/native language.

Not all Hindus are "black". In southern India there are LOTS of dark-skinned people, but in northern India the people are not so dark. In fact, once you go into the mountainous parts of northern India, the people look like ye olde Caucasian.

Well...I did watch the video and I've seen some bollywood films as well. The only Indian film where I've seen a whole cast of dark-skinned guys was a silambam flick from Tami Nadu. All the other Indian films I've seen featured "white" guys - with Mediterranean features. (No "White Europeans" like waht you see in America and the UK.)

Afterall I'm sorry for my abnoxious comments, I do like Indian culture because is similar to my Mexican culture. Ancient Mayan spirituality is similar to India spirituality and I'm happy it still exist, but with different beliefs but also the same practices. Yes I'm proud that our women are beautiful but Indian women too, they almost look alike. So, if I meet any Indian anywhere, I start conversation either in Hindi or English and if we are from same state then we switch over to our state/native language.

If you have to make a "general" statement about Indians, atleast take in to consideration what YOUR media says -- that Indians are the "most educated, hard working and peaceful" among all immigrant population. My opinion: violence is correlated with poverty, and I find Indians the least violent in US, though not quite mingling.

It's not a question of race.
Not all Hindus are "black". In southern India there are LOTS of dark-skinned people, but in northern India the people are not so dark. In fact, once you go into the mountainous parts of northern India, the people look like ye olde Caucasian.
Also, this and most other Indian tall tales take place in northern India. That explains the "white" characters in the story.

Errr, u seem to have a problem understanding race and place of birth. Amitabh Bacchan is mixed and has a Punjabi mother. Dixit is a Brahmin, originally all Brahmins come from Punjab, they have fairer skin color than native maharastrans. Aish Rai, Brahmin, Kajol and Rani are quite dark but with lots of makeup, sri devi is NOT an ethnic Tamalian, she's brahmin, I think u need to get an education fool. Also, are these people typical? These people you see in the film are actually ancient persians and greeks (white people) and the brown people (indenigious east indians) learned their language, technology and religion, but for some reason the white indians suddenly almost disappeared but people did DNA tests and they found out that manyof the indians had european dna mixed with the indinegious true brown dna !!!! but overall they looked brown because you need whole eurpoean dna to look white, not half :P

someone asked me about why the indians in the cartoon are white when they are actually brown in real life, i'm saying that the indians in the cartoon are actually depictions of the ancient indo-aryans and they were enemies with the dravidians, but they signed a piecce treaty but for some unknown reason the indo-aryans turned brown like the dravidians, maybe since they interbred the browness superceded the whiteness.... but the caucasion facial features will be present on some brown indians today

For the same reason that the Chinese usually absorbed whatever foreign peoples invaded their country, whether Manchu or Mongol or any other race of people. Chinese usually outnumbered the invaders and so absorbed them into the local population.
The Indo-Aryans were probably outnumbered by the Dravidians and other indigenous Indians, and the latter absorbed most of the former. A small group of Indo-Aryans remained separate and became the Brahmins.

Well...I did watch the video and I've seen some bollywood films as well. The only Indian film where I've seen a whole cast of dark-skinned guys was a silambam flick from Tami Nadu. All the other Indian films I've seen featured "white" guys - with Mediterranean features. (No "White Europeans" like waht you see in America and the UK.)

To this day most upper-class Indians look more Caucasian than Dravidian.
