What a guy he was. I loved him in every movie he did. He and Burt Reynolds looked liked they had fun together.

Dom's character really shines in my life. In all his movies he acted in and directed, i could see his character shine brightly as a man who lived life with no regrets. He knew this world was harsh and cruel but he took things light and enjoyed his life to the fullest just being himself and being positive. Any time I felt sad or angered by this world I would remember Dom's character in his shows or movies and just smile. I see his character now in his son David, and say "there he is"and smile. ^^

He always seemed to me like the favorite uncle at the family functions. He's be cutting up and getting the kids in trouble with the parents behind the adults back. He's that one in a million. We'll miss him very much.

Dom was great - bigger than life! Dom and Burt were just hilarious together. I always wished they had their own T.V. show.

@KELVINTHECREATOR Yeah, I loved them in "The End". That scene where Burt wants to jump from the balcony but decides it's not high enough then Dom falls onto the grass from 3 floors up and you hear " You're right,..it's not high enough" from where Deluise had fallen absolutely hilarious. Or the scene where Dom's showing Burt how to crush his head in the mechanism for the electric bed, I still laugh every time I just think about those two. That's talent.

I knew Dom and his family, Carol,Peter, Michael and David, I miss him a lot! He used to visit us back in the 80's when he was writing his first cook book. The Deluise family was extremely nice every Christmas they sent Xmas Cards with the family picture from Pacific Palisades,their home!! Miss you Dom!!!

Wonderful tribute! I grew up watching Dom. I remember he was the voice of the orange cat in An American Tail! Such a cute character and all the more that it was voiced by such a warm, jolly, funny man! RIP Dom! :)
