I was there about 20 years ago. We stayed at Lazy Days which was so filthy we moved on to TK Huts. Just checked out the Lazy Days vid. Wow! You can polish a turd after all. We took the old tug boat. Looks far too commercial for me these days.

went here many times, unfortunately the island is extremely corrupt. Fine for a holiday but watch your bags and belongings in the bungelows. Nasty things have happened here! Beaches can be disgusting this was photographed on a good day. What you see is NOT what you you get, Rat infested bungelows as well!

Good post. I stayed there some years ago now for new year. Monkey Island Resort which was very good. I found the beaches on Koh Mak to be not so beautiful or maybe ill kept is what I am trying to say. Also your boat looked alot better than the blue fishing type ferry I was on!
