  • Why would you make a video about this? Stargate sells the beats to Rihanna, Chris Brown, Neyo, etc.... The artists choose the beat, not STARGATE, so if your gonna be mad at someone be mad at the artists for choosing the beat. Stargate is just making music they like regardless if you or anyone else thinks it all sounds similar. Get over it. You are gonna continue to hear Stargate for a long time.

  • so what are u trying to say?? these songs should be less credited because they have similar claps and maybe kicks??

  • you cant produce hits like those two producers

  • you sir are a hater

  • They just give people what they want. The same crap over and over. Good on them for making (a lot of) profit that way.

  • YO stfu and make a beat!

  • U dumb prick ha its a producer signature ,dont u know anything about music???!!!

  • the only thing similar in all the tracks is the claps. the melodies are original. if you know bout music you will know that once you get a hit as a producer, artists come to you asking for beats with the same DNA...what are you gonna do, say no?

  • @SpaceMusicJam Thank you, its called a signature!

  • And whos the one with hit records... you are them??

  • thats a good thing though that people know which beatz are theirs think it sounds good !

  • that how they make beats, thats their sound

  • it was a similar clap sound used in each of the beats...if you are simply criticizing the drum pattern than welcome to R&B and hip hop

  • Does Take a Bow sound ANYTHING like another of their production - Don't Stop the Music? They can go trance if they want, not just R&B.

  • its their style...its like saying 'oh man, that album sucked, it all sounds the same, as if its the same singer.

  • they do sound alike doe but they get money tho

  • I dont give a damn that all songs from stragate the same or not, all of them sounds great. Stop the hating.. RNB's best producer....STARGATE.

  • Your a Hater.. because they make money and you dont :D hahaha

  • Of course, 90% of Rhianna's beats are ripped off. In fact Umbrella is from the theme for Apple competurs music application.

  • list of Rihannas hits:

-Shut up and drive-"Blue Monday"by New Order

    -SOS-"Tainted love"by Soft Cell

-Dont stop the music-"Wanna be starting something"by Michael Jackson

    -Disturbia-"7 Nations Army"by White Stripes

-TI feat Rihanna(rhianna verse is from)-NUMA NUMA

    -Sexuality-"Controversy"by Prince

-Umbrella- "Garageband"(vintage funk 03) by Apple music software program

P.S. Im still a fan of Rihanna. At least she didnt do a crappy retake on these past hits like some artist do.

  • The songs that have been released were probably made in a certain time frame where they made all similar tracks due to a particular creative buzz. Anyways, thats my two sense.

  • Man o Man. I am going to have to disagree. Once a producer finds a signature sound that "sells" they tend to re-use it because it works. Like Scott Storch (Strings). Timbaland (synths). I dont think Stargate has lost creativity. I am sure they have a lot of Original tracks that haven't been released yet due to trial and error, fine tuning and experimenting.

  • STARGATE <3

  • WOAHH all the beats are the SAMEE!!

  • thanks but i think we all knew that this sort of popular contemporary r'n'b material can't really lend itself to too much creativity. stargate are appealing to the suburbs and they know it...why wouldn't you if that's where the money is. fuck musical integrity, they can blanket it with rihanna's soaring vocal performances. if you want profundity in music, listen to beethoven. every production team has a formula, and this hit factory has developed it into an art form. go stargate and go rihanna!

  • I totally agree with you man. Most of these dumb ass ppl dont know music so they dont take time to think about what the fuck their really buying. I hate STARGATES production, and ive been sayin this for so long now. I think their wackest most unoriginal producers out there. Yea they have a few hits right now, but trust that shyt wont last long. Ppl will get tired of that crap. Why cant they actually put some creativity and effort in their production like timbaland, rodney jerkins, etc. ugh damn!

  • Oh well!

  • SO WHAT ? if the beats is the same ?? the text and the melody is completely different from eachother. Stargate is unique. they are sooo good. There is a reason why many of their tracks has been #1, because they are aaaall good. fuck you.

  • yeah they have a similar sound on there tracks but who cares? its legal to rip yourself off

  • stargate .. what can i say, they are simply the best:)

  • Look, I am simply pointing out that they are making millions off recycled melodies and beats. I also pointed out that their older production was more original. You ultimately decide whether you are going to keep buying their records or not. You don't need to curse me off...

  • yes, but they're their own beats, so they can re-use them as much as they like. Anyway the thing that makes them so successful are the melodies and chord work, so much R&B now is simply a massive beat, a vocal and a couple of cursory notes here and there , think beyonce's naughty girl. It's refreshing to hear some actual music. They also use very similar guitar chords and strumming patterns in 'with you', 'hate that i love you', 'irreplaceable' and a few others - some more ammo for you!

  • yes it unorginal. the bitch unorginal too. copying beyonce and fefe dobson. then getting inspiration from charlie and a fashion book. Fuck HER! end of it. Take A Bow sucks anyways.

  • It's not unoriginal, it's genius. They do what it takes to get and stay at #1.. If that's what people likes to hear, they'll keep supplying that demand.

Either that or I extremely love Stargate.

  • I feel wat u saying, but music is going to sound similar and their goin 2 use some of the same rhythms to help create a new sound. All in all I don't think the music sounds alike and I love their productions. I got a question though. Do dey play the music themselves?
