I've been following the progress of this game for months or possibly years. According to the most recent news on the moddb site, you guys were to continue with this in October of last year or at the LATEST December. It's mid-January now. What's goin on? Even if you don't have new gameplay footage or screenshots, you could still keep the fans informed. Right?

I love how the animation, effects and sonic model are just as awful as they were in 2006. It boggles my mind how you can have such good looking environments (even back in the 2006 build on that engine) and yet just completely fail in every other aspect of the game.

Looks like a completely different game almost. Hope some of the old stuff is still there.

It SEEMS like with new Sonic games released that they decided to update it to make it like the newer Sonic games. I thought it was like the Adventure series minus the homing attack to make it like a 3D classic game. So will it be a mix of all 3 styles then? That might be cool.

Is there going to be any other playable characters, like Shadow or Ashura? It would be awesome to play as Shadow with Unleashed-style speed and abilities. BTW What are Ashura's unique abilities? Also, I saw the old trailer, and please don't give them guns. It's just kind of pointless in a Sonic game.

The only part of this that bothers me so far is how linear and claustrophobic the 3D sections look. The older tech demo gave the player lots of room to explore and wander around in. Are all the 3D sections going to be like this?

What you see in the video is a work in progress. Funny how many people seem to think its final product. lol

But yes the controls need tightening up, animation timings need tweaking and a ton of overstuff needs working on.

I think the only problem I have with this, is with the more realistic-looking level design, I feel that Sonic himself looks out of place. Though sadly I don't know what advice I could give to resolve it :I

No demo anytime soon. Still working on Game mechanics and tweaking animation timings.

Possibly a Demo later in the year. It really depends on how much we can get done as we are a small team.

As for selling the game. Not possible. Even though we are using the Unreal Development Kit which allows teams like ourselves to sell homebrew (Indie)games and pay a royalty fee to Epicgames. With ADR we cannot do this, due to Sonic and co being the copyright of Sega.
