dabnab. It's quite possible I am a fool because I'm snickering and you're bellowing. Someday, the sun will shine in your mind. Someday, you'll know the love of the father.Till then, I will gladly wear the mantle of being a fool. You've inspired me to make another movie.
Thanks for the comments. Really appreciate. It's good to keep looking for what you believe is true or not. I'm easy, if it makes sense, I keep it, if it doesn't, I don't. The Ubook makes sense to me. If I found anything that was more consistent to what I feel inside, I would go to that. Until then.................
Another one to look for is " Discovering Ardi " on The Discovery Channel " . It's a study of the Ardipithecus fossil which is leading evolutionary theory AWAY from the idea that humans evolved from a Chimp-like creature. Instead, man and ape took totally different paths just like the UB says. Take care.
@dakotagerman1 Nothing but speculation? Why would you make such a concrete statement. Have you studied of the UB and concluded that it's worthless? I've been reading and researching the UB for a couple of years now and I can't find anything that either definitively proves or disproves it. I read critically because anything that purports to be the truth, especially profound truth, must stand up to scrutiny. Whatever the UB is, it makes statements of flat fact. I have found no speculation in it.
There's no case for evolution. Each reproduces after his own kind. If we're descended from lemurs, then why can't we mate with lemurs? We can't even mate with chimpanzees (and we're nearer to them, genetically, than lemurs). Just because something has a functional similarity with something else doesn't mean they're the same.
That's why this is just guesswork and The Urantia Book is nothing but speculation.
@dakotagerman1 Well ok, I didn't realize you had discarded the enitre idea of evolution. I won't get into refuting your notion that if we decended from a particular animal that we should still be able to procreate with them. I have not proven that the UB is authentic revelation but once again... there is no speculation in it. Beings supposedly in a position to know, make authoritative statments of flat fact. You could claim it's a made up fantasy but, there is no speculation between it's covers.
@dakotagerman1 By the way, my replies to you are not intended to deride or insult. I'm curious though... I am engaged in looking for correlations between modern scientific discoveries and what was written in the UB in 1955 or earlier. There are many compelling ones. Do you feel the need to dicourage or disparage that effort? Surely the UB has sufficient quality to merrit curiosity and investigation? Even at worst, if it's a fiction, it's excellent fiction and worth a read... No?
Hi, just curious if you've checked out " The Link " on The History Channel? The anchors on CNN were discussing it one morning and my jaw dropped. They were saying it was a new discovery set to rewrite the evolutionary textbooks.... an early lemur type of mammal which might be man's earliest ancestor.

Look at Darwin's theory. Such has been disproven.
