Healthcare costs worldwide have gone UP mainly because of 1 reason. Government intervention.
E.g. health insurance are not allowed to offer cheaper plans to healthy individuals who look after their health, as it is classed as "discrimination".
The are also not allowed to provide lower premiums in return for higher deductibles.
