@iHoouse Buy a RWD car. Max it out, as in upgrade the shit out of it. Get Comfort:Hard tires. Lower the shit out of the suspension. 3.0 front camber, 2.0 rear camber. Don't use Auto tranny, for obvious reasons. Select a track you wish to drift on and practice. Tips: The tighter the corner, the lower gear you use (except for first) The longer the corner, the higher gear you use (3-4th gear). Remember, keep those tires spinning. Those are the VERY starting basics that I use. Good luck.
