heath robinson, love it man, why not ? we need more bonkers people like this guy. the world would be a better place if everyone spent their time doing none essential things like this, keep the good work up lads. I'm all for anything like this ! ! it makes me smile [ :-)
This is nice! Now the only thing you might want to add is a timer to tell you when it is time to change cycle speed. It would also be nice if it could automatically add water and drain it on pedal power! Insert clothes with detergent. Get on bike and slow pedal for 5 to 10 minutes. After timer alarm goes off, kick it up to high gear for the rinse cycle!
neat. the adaption is unique , tho personally i favor smelling food processing than ripe panties, and hearing wind in my ears than the loud-ish clanking. let the laundry stay solar-powered, tucked under insulation.
Aviator1992 if you look close you can see that it says pedal powder on the sign thats at the bottom of the screen when hes taking the clothes out!!!!!
Nice to see your comment on here. Hope you liked the video (shame about the audio but thats what you get working in a field). Please do post any links you have to online info about the green machine.
That's a pretty cool invention! The guy at the end said the clothes were dry!? I find that very hard to believe. Also, mobiletone said that you're not using detergent, but I think if you only used half the water you'd have enough left for a rinse cycle. Would you argue that this is more energy efficient than washing clothes by hand in the stream (for 3rd world nations)?
yeah, this isn't going to clean anything, all you're doing is making the clothes damp, i can do that in my bath!! no hot water, no detergent! no wonder crusties always smell musty.

A 5-second Google search shows this is nowhere close to an original idea. Sorry, but no points in my book.
