the best tune i have ever heard,love it,brilliant simon may, this programme was soooo good the best soap i have ever seen(marcus,pilar and few others were superb) but sadly some of the others were not up to scratch i guess this is why it was axed great shame

Excellent upload many thanks, two interesting points of note -

The first being that the vt clock at the front says episode 158 when there were only 156 episodes which is a bit of a mystery unless a couple of episodes were edited together earlier on. Later on the BBC sold the show overseas in blocks of 13 so the VT clock could have read Series 7 Episode 5 and so forth.

Also it is interesting that the © and date  is burnt in to the titles, which probably explained why it took over 6 months to realise that we had move to 1993.

Found out the other day that one of my relatives designed the Eldorado credits...not sure what to say!

Totally brilliant ! I love it, so the second bit was left blank until the credits were added for the given epiosde.
