I accept that any wanker can pass A' levels nowadays (I assume that you've got some). I note that you have chosen to ignore her BA and MA. I know that philosophers can't agree on a definition of intelligence, and that psychologists can't agree on a measure for intelligence. However, most laymen, like myself, believe that the ability to attain academic qualifications is an indication of something. An MA places Paloma in the top 5% of those with academic qualifications.

@immeaparently You're dead right about not judging people by their accents (I speak as a Northener, who has lived in London, and loves the Cockney accent). Whether you had the 'flu or not doesn't matter. You were posting a comment on You Tube, not completing a job application. Shakespeare would have struggled to win a spelling contest. Hope you're clear of the flu now! And just to add my tuppence worth.. I think Paloma's academic record speaks volumes. But as far as I'm concerned, its her journey from normal Hackney to her current position which says more - sheer hard work founded on emotional intelligence and considerable strength of character. I think she's inspirational. Traditional assumptions of intelligence miss an important point - the emotional adjustment - ie, "I'm clever, but I don't know what to do with it.."

So many people are judged by there accent, hobbies, and what they are and arent good at.

I personaly happen to be crap at maths (I couldnt subtract a fart from a plate of beans) t I happen to be a more artistic type, and I'm allways getting sarky comments.

To me emotional intelligence is more important, and if some people, naming no names but MOLEWIZARD have nothing better to then sit and make idiotic comments, then they shoud go out and get a life!
