I went there for my main quest, but how do I know if I transcribe the lexicon or not? My quest still remains in the in-game menu. And yes I met up with avanschel after this but then nothing more happend :( I was over level 15.

@k4duty If you have the elder scroll and picked the lexicon back up after using it then it is transcribed.

@mrpenguin49 After you kill someone loot their body and it will give you the option to harvest their blood. You simply need to find and kill one person from each race.

@BigJ0shy I did the Alchemy/Restoration/Enchanting glitch that has since been patched. If you know how to clear the updates from your xbox then you can do it offline and just re-download all the patches after. I have a video on how to do it. I can't post a link in this response but you can find the video on my channel.

Guys to find book press ` in game and enter "coc qasmoke" Then go to books and take book, use map to get back somewhere and that's all :)

@kyejordan666 There is a bug in the game if you give him the Lexicon before you reach lvl 15 then the dialog to advance in the quest never appears. There are a few ways to fix this that have worked for some people. Go to the link i posted on the bottom of the description and scroll down the page until you find "Possible Bug" under the "Harvesting Blood" section.

@mastercrash1 Were you at least level 15 when you returned to him? If not, wait till you are lvl 15 then go back and speak with him again.

@superace747 For part of the quest he will have you collect a sample of each race's blood. It may take a while if you don't know where to find each race.

@brandothehero It's not the biggest deal and you won't miss out on anything except 1 character level worth of skills. If you ever start a new character attempt this quest as early as possible and save each time before you go to see him in case your glitch happens again.

Please help me I'm lvl 50 and have a tit load of stuff 100 smith and all that but I went to him with all the blood I gave it to him and he glitched so I left and came back and the extractors gone but he's on the other side of the wall ad the doors closed how do I open it

@brandothehero Oh NO! I don't think there is anything you can do if that happens. If your willing to reload a save from before the time you gave him the blood he will be in his original spot, but that's the only way i can think of.

@TheStiefmen You don't need the Elder Scroll for this quest, it is just something you find during the quest.
