I tried it, but when I was done holding the sleep button and home button, nothing happened. The limera1n icon didn't show up. It just went back to recovery mode. Help? Now I can't use my iPhone. (its a 3gs btw)

I finally got my iPod 3GS connected by USB to my portable PC, this one connected by WiFi to the ADSL router. Now I get exactly the same problem as Harmannnnnnnn: limera1n on PC says hack is "done", but the apple logo stays on the screen, neither it changes to the limera1n logo, neither appears limera1n icon on home screen.

Your iPhone has to be connected to WiFi, not your laptop.

Because your iPhone has to grab the data to install cydia throught WiFi

Sorry to say but iPod Touch 2nd Gen is not supported in Limera1n

the only supported versions are as follow:

iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G

4.0-4.1 and beyond+++

You have to be connected to a WiFi connection in order for Limera1n to grab the information for Cydia installation, if you are not connected to a WiFi connection you will always get that message.

ive got the limerain toolbar up and i clicked let it rain and my ipod is turned on and the toolbar says waiting for device and its been saying that for about 10 mins now what shall i do about it.

by the way my ipodtouch is 3g if it helps

if you uninstall the limera1n it will just remove the limera1n icon, your phone will remain jailbreaking and the Cydia icon along with its content will still be on your phone
