  • It's a friction lock. You twist the lock ring first, just tight enough to overcome the throttle spring, then adjust the throttle as needed and it will stay wherever you put it. All with the throttle hand. Additionally, you can adjust the throttle lock to only partially resist the throttle spring which reduces how tight you have to squeeze the throttle during long rides (cramp).

    What a great video showing the throttle control. When I used to travel on my motorcycle, I used the throttle rocker and it worked great but the cruise control you've got on your GSA is so much better. I could see you can just ride for hours on end with that. Again, good stuff and take care!
