if that case can take a 120mm fans i would just should a H50 water cooling in there for less fan noise would iv done me i made one on my video but really cant put one in there because only except 80mm fans very sad

Im doing the same thing with a Emachines. I know its crap, but I'm 14 and want to learn first hand on modding. I got it up to 500GB HDD, 4GB DDR, ATI video card, 3 Logisys led fans, and i drilled cable management wholes in the chassis so all the cable are nice and neat(: I am going to paint the panels flat black to look good with the red led's.

@XBZZA4 its pretty much done now! a big change in plans though. Not enough money so I scaled down on the ram and HDD. I couldn't get too much money because im 14. But it came out nice, not a gameing PC though just basically a modded out normal PC, as a project for me. (: sorry it took sooooo long to respond...

That's nice, I plan on modding my HP Pavilion XT963 (Has 384mb of ram a 1.2ghz celeron and a Radeon 9200 it runs pretty well....) I plan on cutting out a hole in the side and putting in a window, putting in Red lights, etc, pimping it out should totally slip in a pentagram on the front to scare my cousin. ;o

*Power on* hears Demonic laughter and pentagram lights up, "Ohhh SHIT!" xD

Go with liquid bearings they last longer (Like the ball bearing fans due compared to sleeve...only more significant.) but are much quieter then both ball bearing and sleeve put together. ;3

i totally luv this mod planning to do same thing but with elite e9000 or hpe series same internal black colour ,choice of fans (but i hve made a chnge and will b using corsair h50), fan mounted at d front is cool didn't taught of tht as i'm nt sure of the room....... one more thing different is tht i going to mount a 120mm fan at d top so as to remove hot air tht rise .....COOL POST BRO.....

Its a 140 up front, and they're mounted with fan screws. The cathodes are just in a little plastic tube. Cut off the tube and its done.

Started the corners with a drill. Then enlarged the holes with a hole saw. From there I connected the holes with a jigsaw. The plexi came from performance-pcs.

Very nice job. I love to see oem cases being modded. Any one can buy a new Antec and add lights and fans to it. But taking a stock case and making it in to something nice like that takes a lot of time and vision. 5 stars my friend.

Your correct. Xigmatek doesnt make a 92mm xlf fan. Just 80mm, 120mm, and 140mm. So I drilled out a new mounting pattern for the 80mm fan. Had to keep with the color scheme :)

Hey where did you get the fans and whats the brand/model? Im a Gator fan and have a new computer coming with a lot of blue LED fans already so a little orange would be awesome.

Performance-pcs (dot) com The 140mm is the xlf-1453 The 120mm is the xlf-1253 The 80mm is the xlf 853

Newegg has them also, but if you get them from performance-pcs, they come custom sleeved :)

The case started off as a plain old hp pavilion desktop. Dont think it has a name. hehe

When your looking at power supply specs, you'll see something like this... "  +3.3V@25A,+5V@25A,+12V1@25A,+1­2V2@25A,

-12V@0.3A,+5VSB@2.5A " The part where it says ""+12V1@25A,+12V2@25A"" is the amperage on the 12 volt rail(s). A power supply could have 1000 watts, but if its only giving the 12v rail 10 amps, only 120watts will be available to the video card.

Volts times Amps = Watts. Hope that helped.

Forgot to mention, in the case of power supplies with multiple 12v rails, you add them together to come up with the available power.
