  • My grandma's name is Carrie RIP both carries -3

  • not gonna lie, i teared up a lil when the mom read carrie's note

  • WHAT`S THEIR MOTIVE?

  • @anitacharmine Carrie knew things the chastity group wanted to keep themselves and they felt Carrie ''corrupted'' them.

  • bad ricky ullman! killing a girl

  • They killed her by casting stones at her. K, she didn't do anything wrong for them to cast stones at her. The victim became a scapegoat for their sins, apparently.

  • I vote this as one of the dumbbest episodes. The victim had a terrible life and seeks God. Then, the group turned on her because she broke the group's rules? ANd you know the leader of the group is a control freak. Yeah, and the leader has a love interest on the youth minister or youth pastor. She thinks that the victim would take him away from the leader? The victim did not see it that way. Ultimately, her walk is with GOD.

  • I am christian and I'm not offended by this episode. If you think about that, you can see that the message was about Carrie, she believed in God and she regrected of her life because she thought that God loved her too. She was becoming into a new person in a new life. That's is being christian, change your life. The others were jealous and angry because they couldn't forgive themshelves and understand that God loves them.

  • Touched my heart.

  • I bawled hysterically after seeing this on t.v a couple of years ago.

  • I thought that the song was really perfect for the episode. I can really relate to the note too :).

  • The way they killed her was kinda brutal... damn bastards .__. What I loved the most was Carrie's note at the end "I think that God loves me for who I am"

  • So, wasn't everybody but the asian guy convicted for 1st degree murder? The guy being convicted for acessory.

  • Wat exactly happened in this episode?

  • To all those calling this episode anti-Christian, I direct you to the note Carrie wrote for herself.

  • A lot who I know who are fans of CC don't think this episode is the best. It's my favorite, along with the series premiere, and a few others. I never viewed the episode as intentionally dismissive toward Christianity, more targeting hypocrisy, like trinapinks intelligently said. I don't know. Something about kids gone bad episodes of any crime show are extra interesting to me.

  • Hahaha!! Kat Miller gave her daughter one of those 'oh you've lost your mind' looks!!

  • I love the note 1:46 because I believe that to be true too. :)

  • that advisor was just sick

  • miller's looking at her daughter like "hello no you aint wearing that " XD Cold case always made me think. Ya see the victim alive, then the victim is dead and from that point until the last 5 minutes you're like "OMG who did it? He did? She did? They DId? who" :O

  • Christian, pfft. Carrie was the only one really Christian, those four kids apparently all forgot the old phrase "He who is without sin cast the first stone". Poor Carrie:(

  • @Moonstone2732 they cast the first stone allright.

  • Now OK it's just a show I know it. I've been watching the show for quite a while now, but I still do not understand why do all the murderers confess in the end???? and why doesn't anyone use the help of a lawyer when being interrogated?? I mean, in real life it's directly the opposite...

  • @zenitrulit2 If they did all that, there would be no cool songs and video montages to look forward to at the end.

  • As a christian myself I wasn't offended or anything by the episode. It can be interpreted as anti-christian but I think the message laid with the character of Carrie Swett. She believed that God loves everyone, flaws and all and believed that he loved her regardless of what she did. The other kids took what they were taught and construed it and that led to their downfall. I'd say more of anti-religious zealousy than anti-christian.

  • The ending of this episode is one of the ones I can't get out of my head!

  • i missed this episode, can anyone give me a summary telling me what happened

  • I bet if Mark Greene was still alive, his daughter wouldn't have ended up killing someone! (Kidding!)

  • Argh, this episode made me cry. TV and crap almost never makes me cry.

  • @PinkoLady did you just watch it i did :) it was good one right?

  • @dannyyspencerr i saw it on friday i think it was?

  • @NarokiDream idk whenever i left this comment. yeah friday on tnt ;)

  • bad ricky ullman bad!!

  • I don't know how some people can kill someone and deny they did it and keep it a secret I could never do that

  • @dakotafanful Never say never... :P

  • This was the best episode I have ever seen along with others well all of the episodes are great any way this was so sad that leader girl was horrible

  • Cold Case and its wonderful songtracks!!!!!!

  • at least the mother finally found out what happened.

  • what did Lily mean by "stone to death?" i kinda dont get it :[

  • aww this episode was sad :(

  • But in the scene when they murder her, what did the chinese girl do? And whats up with Tina ripping off her shirt............physco

  • i don't think this episode is all that anti-christian . i mean at the end u see that note she wrot about god loving her for who she is. isn't that one of the most important parts of christianity, well at least it is the sane christians out there.

  • @ROTLDzombi he who has not sinned, must cast the first stone

It's a bit of a play from that scene, it supposed to be like, what if Jesus wasn't there to help that one woman who committed adultery.

I myself am buddhist, but still I believe in some christian values, but not to the very extreme.

I would say that I have a W.W.J.D moment every once in a while :)

  • good, episode. Didn't really make much sense for Carrie to trust Phil enough to be alone with him in the woods after just reading the note in the "God can" that said she was going to die, I would have immediatlely distanced myself from everyone in that group and slept with one eye open from then on.

  • This was the first episode I've watched of this show. I was shockingly impressed. It was powerful, emotional, and well written. I love the story showing that in the end, that girl, who everyone picked on, was the most innocent and pure out of them all. My favorite part in this episode was when the mom read what her daughter wrote on that paper, "To make friends." That was beautiful! Not a lot of shows can cause my heart to be moved so strongly like that.

  • Powerful episode. It's not anti-Christian at all really. The four fundamentalist kids were all a bunch of hypocrites. Carrie was the true Christian because she had learned to accept herself and she knew that God accepted her for who she was.

Profound ending scene when Lilly sees Carrie finally at peace.

  • Some people of God, if those teenagers REALLY looked to God. They would have remember what Jesus said, "He without sin, cast the first stone". Seems they kept forgetting that, and wanted to blame a Carrie. Even though she did nothing to any of them accept try being supportive. She wasn't really promiscous just badly confused in the begining but she seemed to understand to what was important. That she was herself and that God loved her as she was. Not what others made her.

  • what happened in this episode?

  • @x0xvanex0x A girl of higscool was so bad with his 4 friends, so they kill her

  • This is what you get when the bible-thumpers are set loose. Very sad, maybe a little anti-christian, then again these kinds of things happen in real life too. So just because it's (possibly?) anti-christian doesn't mean it can't be shown - now does it.

  • Anything that's anti-Christian seems acceptable as entertainment, however if it was anti-Islamic, the writers would be murdered !

  • I can't help but agree....

  • Part of the whole, running theme of CC is that the "good old days" are anything but. How many of CC's victims were "guilty" of no other crime than being the "wrong gender/sexual orientation/race/social class" or thinking the "wrong" was total BS? And how many times in real-life or CC did some jackass use religion to whitewash or justify cruelty they would have done anyway?

Big difference between Christians who live it and the modern-day Pharisees.

  • @MrsMac5 Amen. I don't condone either, but anti-Christian seems to be the one politically correct discrimination allowed.

  • @caitriona3 I definitely don't think this is anti-Christian-- it's anti-extremism. I'm more or less agnostic to atheist and have my beef with evangelical crazies, but I never equate them or kids like these to Christianity as a whole. I don't think most people do, either.

  • @MrsMac5 That's just the sad, sad truth. :(

  • @MrsMac5

I think it's not a fact of Islam as itself. Islam is some 500 years younger than Christianity, and we all know what was with Christianity 500 years ago - witch-hunt , Inquisition and other unpleasant things, so I just think it's a natural thing for every religion.

  • @MrsMac5 Darned straight you are Ma'am!!!!

  • @MrsMac5 And such is your ignorance. Do you know how many anti-Islam, anti-Muslim comments, shows, tirades Hollywood and the Western mass media are churning ? Apparently not. You lament of anti-Christian stereotypes yet you indulge in anti-Islam ones - do you not see either your hypocrisy or the depth of your ignorance ?

  • @Psycho18C Sorry but I don't do requests. Instead of telling me to SHUT UP, prove me that I'm wrong.

  • @MrsMac5 You're not very familiar with the news today are you ? Have you any idea the amount of Islamophobic thrash which is out that ? If anyone written anything anti-Islam were to be murdered, then we the Muslims wouldn't have this Islamophobia problem to be begin with, would we ?

  • @MrsMac5 - OH NOEZ, THEYZ BE MAWKIN DA KWISTYUNZ? Call the waaaaaambulance, yo. Also, I friggin' loved this ep. Saw it on Ion and I friggin' bawled at the end. Hilarious, depressing, and an accurate portrayal of churchies. These are what the youth groups I went to were like, bitches with their cliques and their snide ass behind your back scheming. You think you can trust them but they just want your dirt so they can hurt you with it later.

  • @MadTVNG There will always be those who claim to be Christian, but don't want to actually LIVE as Christians. I am Christian, and I believe those who twist the truth of Christianity will face the harshest judgment when their time comes. May they see the error of their ways before that time comes.

  • @MadTVNG This episode was not anti-christain but rather anti-hypocrisy. It was not aimed at christains but in stead at those individuals who think they are christains because they go to church on day a week, so that gives them the right to judge and condemn others, while they themselves commit sin after sin.

  • @MadTVNG I don't think its anti-christian. But if anything this is meant to show out against religous fantatics. Those that think they understand something without really looking into what they believe they represent. Well thats how I always saw it.

  • @MadTVNG cald case has never pulled punches when it comes to controversial subjects. that what made the show so great.

  • @MadTVNG

The problem is that while CVS definitely has a right to show whatever it wants, the plot of this show is blatantly anti Christian and blatantly anti-abstinence. It sends the message that teenagers are never really abstinent, even if they stay they are. It sends the message that being a Christian makes you paranoid about sex to the point that you would literally murder someone who you feel is "corrupting" you. The problem is that all the problems in the narrative stem from Christianity.

  • Comment removed

  • @Progo35 The show is not anti christian, it did not focus on it as a whole, just the group shown in the episode. The groups actions are not a reflection on every christian now are they?

  • LOVED this episode and I loved Carrie

  • Tina Quinn was the weirdest killer ever (also at first I thought she was a lesbian because she was always staring at Carrie).

    Carrie was hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it's this song in the episode , and i really want to find it can anyone give me some hints?

  • It is called "Black Balloon" by the Goo Goo Dolls.

  • tracie's face at veronica when she saw those hoochie mama clothesXD i luv you tracie!!!

  • 1:46-1:50 FTW

  • the victim died of blood force trauma and blood loss; the 4 people getting arrested did it because they thought carry was corrupting them and knew about their secrets

  • i watched this episode today and it was so sad. carry was awesome and pretty and strong but they killed her. i couldn't stand that red head bitch she made me extra angry and so did that Chinese guy and that Phil guy. the Laurie girl even though she killed carry too i can't believe I'm saying this but i felt bad for her. all in all it was a sad but awesome episode. I'd definitely watch it again.

  • I think this episode was profoundly spiritual. I don't feel that it was anti-christian at all. Quite the opposite actually. They say that their is salvation within God and Christ. I think the salvation comes from the realization that God loves us all for who we are. If we are true to that, then we have nothing to be ashamed of. That's my view at least.

  • I know some groups were condemning this episode as anti-Christian. Apparently, they overlooked that Carrie was trying to become a better person and gain more self-respect by remembering that God loved her.

  • one of the BEST episodes of Cold Case

  • My eyes always get watery when Carrie's mom opens the paper she wrote about god still loving her. Goes to show that just because she was promiscuous doesn't mean she was a bad/evil person.

  • Kat's daughter looking at the hoochie clothes is funny

  • i felt very sad for the victim... because she was killed by 4 people who knew that she found out about their secrets T.T .... R.I.P. Carry Swett ;]

  • and the worst part is, she would have kept their secrets

  • can anyone answer at this comment to tell me if he likes this episode?

  • i think it's the best episode ever

  • that's one of my favouite episode

  • words cant tell how much I hate this episode. because.. it's so incredible and so true and clean. it leaves this mark, this spot on my heart. a spot that brings back feelings and emotions, that i really thought i had left behind. and it leaves me with... anger and guilt and fear, and a need to become a better person.

  • 0:26 - There's the queen bitch!

  • what do you mean by the queen bitch.excuse me if i am offensive.

  • I was talking about Tina, the leader of them all. The one who instigated the crime.

  • okay i was confused with your choice in words.

  • phil, mannie and laurie could of persuaded her otherwise but they didn't did they.

  • es, but Phil hit Carrie with th rock, Laurie To, and Mannie let carrie Die

  • this must have the most doers for just one murder.

  • why did they kill her in the first place?

  • she knew stuff about them they wanted to hide.

  • they tried to keep her quiet is that right?

  • yes. what makes it more sad is that she wasnt going to tell.

  • they were overeacting.

  • The ending was so sad. I think that Carrie Swett was the truest Christian of them all.

  • i think so aswell.

  • To me, by far the saddest ending, up there with "Fly Away" and "The Promise"

  • I think so too. they are all sad in some way, but this is one of the saddest.

  • what penalty might they get for murder?

  • the asian guy would only get charged with being an accomplice to murder. he waz there but just stood around

  • accesory to murder?

  • he knew that the others were going to kill her, but he didnt tell the authorities. also, he did help in tapping her

  • okay.
