  • How to smoke a cigar

    Leave me alone

  • @jrocjams

u wont get any risks from smoking like 1 cigar on the weekend... :)

  • @rawfflecakes more videos, more advertising space for expertvillage...

  • how about respecting the non cigar smokers? are you going to cover that. i see a lot of cigar smokers with lit cigars, going into a store to buy something, and they think its ok because they just need to pick up one thing.

  • band off!

  • what if u don't have a cigar cutter what ells could you use to cut the cigar?

  • i dont think u can look much cooler than that

  • Why are all these chopped up into 1 min videos... Wouldn't it make more sense to put them in one?

  • Lol, i can go in to my Tobacconist tomorow, and buy Cuban Cigars. Yet Americans live closer to Cuba, and its contraband. I quite like the UK on that point.

  • im pretty new to smoking cigars and have only tried a few. the other day i had a vega fina and so far i like the taste of it more than any other ones ive tried. anyone have suggestions for a simila cigar or one with as much flavor and aroma?

  • Do you know how much money an opperation like that would cost as well as the risks of loseing your voice and the pain of the opperation. Any way besides cancer it is still going to shorten your life because your addicted to it.

  • I swear to god everyone on here is retarded.

YOU CANNOT BE ADDICTED TO CANCER.

  • cigarettes sure

cigars are way different. you smoke cigars at home or when you're at a celebration.

  • only if you smoke cigs. Cigars are different.

  • You are susceptible to any of those diseases by smoking any thing. Just read the warning on the pack.

  • 1rst, you do not inhale smoke from cigars into your lungs.

2nd, studies have shown that people who smoke less than once a week have no considerable increases to risk of any diseases.

    Teeth can be whitened.

I only smoke with people who smoke. Never inconsiderably around those who dont enjoy.

  • @clubby9806 I love you

  • well that is our choice to get all of those things and if you don't like then why don't you go find so clean "air space."

  • What does "so clean 'air space'" mean. Did you mean to say some* clean air space, or some of that so clean air space?

  • whats best to drink to a good cigar?

  • Montecristo #4 is mid sized and mild this makes it a great cigar for many, here in Canada it is the #1 selling cigar,

  • Anyone knows what`s the best cigars for beginners. I heard the MonteCristo No.4 are good for beginners.. Why.??

  • I love the La Gloria Cubana Serie R No. 4, I have really grown to liking them such a smooth cigar

  • Get the right cubans and they are not too strong.. Ive really grown fond of the bolivar coronas junior. A decent priced good cigar. Yes Cubans are illegal for purchase, and are illegal to sell. Im pretty sure there is laws against keeping them as property but it is not enforced at all.

  • I always leave the band on when I smoke. I think it makes it look more dignified that way, a show of quality.

  • agreed. However, if im on a great cigar, i have been known to smoke it thru the ring

  • yesterday i've bought 1 cigar, dos hermanos, product by djarum indonesia, fully handmade, is 3 leaf wraped the cigar. from cuba, deli, kalimantan.. fiuhh.. 7.5 us$..

  • and it stinks...

  • It is actualy considered rude in some cultures/countries to leave the band on the cigar you are smoking.

  • our country like that and other balkan country too

  • were you from dude??

  • Serbia

  • have you ever had a cuban? I though about it when I was in rome italy last summer but I had just ate and did not know what it would do to me so I did not.

  • check out, for great full bodied cigars (may not be a true cuban but its a great full bodied smoke) the bolivar cofradia 554 or 654 or 754 (554= 5x54 654=6x54 754= 7x54) and their amazing. Also check out JR cigars and their Rothschild JR Ultimate. A GREAT SMOKE, and no, im not a sales rep of JR. Im just a guy who love great cigars

  • eh I hear the cubans are really strong though, turns out you can have them just cant sell them here in the states, at least that is what i have been told by tobbaco shop guys

  • I know and it was pretty good...I guess I forgot to put the "LOL" at the end of my comments...but I was running out of room! Man I wish I could smoke in the office here...

  • yes yes but i dislike the cigars that i have (my first 3) all cigars are basically good but to some poeple they dislike slow stiff drawing cigars or dark and sweet or light and strong -- my point all cigars are good but to certain people -- hope that puts it in lesser terms

  • Well, I don't care to show off -- meaning, I couldn't give a rat's ass if anybody knows what I smoke -- but I don't take the band off to hide it. I just feel the band is not part of the smoking experience and honestly with some of the premium makers putting two and three bands on them today, including some at the end where I'm going to light it...well, bands are more of a detriment than anything else -- they get in the way! And, for the record, I'm in no way shape or form a communist.

  • LOL, the communist remark was a joke, man.

  • i like to leave the band on so every puff i can look down at the cigar and say, thank you god for this delicious monte cristo. plus, if its a cool looking band, you can admire it while you smoke.

  • if the cigar unwraps because you took the band off, it is a bad cigar. In Europe you

HAVE TO take the band off. It is like wearing an Armani jacket and leaving the tag off... but I guess everything in america is about showing off, so yeah, keep the band on...

  • Sometimes the adhesive gets on the cigar, and may tear the wrapper. It doesn't matter. It is personal preference. Sometimes it happens with the best cigars. "Taking the band off" was a communist tradition.

  • taking the band off is a communist tradition? I guess England suffered many years of communism and some traditions stayed... in all the world, it is considered bad etiquette. the "tradition" of leaving the band on was first introduced by the yuppies that wanted to show off the cigars, especially if it was a (usually fake) cuban

  • Emouch, I was attempting to be humerous with the communist thing. However, etiquette does not "demand" that the band be taken off. It is really personal preferrence as much as a cultural thing though.

  • From Aficionado: This is a cultural decision as much as anything. In some countries, it is considered very ostentatious to leave the band on. But in others, it is considered perfectly acceptable. In the United States today, it is generally accepted that people will leave the band on the cigar. Most cigar manufacturers prefer people to leave it on, because it serves as advertising for their brand...

  • ...And, in the cigar bar environment, many people find that the band serves as a conversation piece as in, "What are you smoking?" However, it is true that some people leave on their bands as a status symbol. If you don't like that message, don't do it.

  • ok, sorry if I came across offensive. As you said, it is only in the US that people leave the band on. This as you understand has to do with showing off, it serves no other purpose. I have never had a problem with the cigar taking the band off. never unraveled the wrap, never stuck on the glue. I smoke cigars for only pleasing my taste buds, and not compensate my ego. I would recommend instead of supporting leaving the band off, spread the word to take it off;)

  • It's best to leave the band on until the cigar burns near the band, only then the natural glue will get hot and the band will become easier to remove, also I doubt that taking the band off was a communist tradition :P

  • In America you'll find jeans made in the 1990's, the tag was not sewn at the ends so you can put your belt through it and show the tag! thats all because the internet came in and the economy was super, so everybody wanted to say "look at me, I'm rich!" i guess it's the same with cigars.

  • as I said, I go through 10-15 cuban cigars per week, never had a problem with taking the band off right after I took my cigar out of the humidor. If the band is too tight I just rip it. There is no reason for leaving the band on apart from showing off.

  • It has nothing to do with showing off. Many of the cigars I enjoy have a label that will not come off without ripping off the wrapper. If the wrapper slides off I take it off.

If you are here in the states enjoying 15-20 cubans a week and the label comes off that easy you are probably getting fakes.

  • I live in england and mostly buy EMS cigars, most bought from here. I don't slide the ring, I tear it. As I said, I never had a wrapper tear. anyway, each to their own. I am just saying that here in europe keeping the band on is showing off. I think the same, there is no need keeping it on.

  • I'd say a cigar that consistently draws poorly and cracks while you're smoking it is a bad cigar.

  • Well, duh. That wasn't the point. The point is the brand.
