I am sure he is pandit Bhimsen Joshijis desciple! the style and taan patterns of panditji is inmissable and unmistakable! the original version is available that is not to siatract from the excellent singing by Jayateerthaji what a lovely name! I must congratulate/commend his parents!
Thank you so much for your informative reply!I live far away and my exposure to singers from karnataka ( the younger generation) was/is minimal I only listened to the music of Kumar Gandharva, Gangubai ji and Krishnaji Hangals and Mallikarjun Mansurji and his son and Basava Rajguruji! I discovered venkatesh and Narasimha Naikji and Upendra Bhatji only recently! Of coursei also knew about Kaivalya Kumarji and Madhav Gudi ji ,and not to forget Bhimsenji!
I am absolutely delighted to have made my acquaintance with this divine singer !I only wish I get a chance to listen to a live performance when I visit Bangalore in March of this year
you can see bhimsenji in jayateerth because he is disciple of late shripati padigar, who was senior disciple of bhimsenji.
