Such a great Flyers team that year, the chemistry they had was unprecedented, I'm getting the same feelings about this years team.

Such a resilient Maple Leafs team this year also; every time Philly had an early lead, Toronto would dig deep and take the Flyers to their limits.

As a Flyers fan, I still have a lot of respect of the Leafs and their fan base. This was such a great series. Toronto, please make the playoffs again, I don't wanna see garbage teams like Atlanta in there.

@67Leafs Well when your up 2-0 in a close out game you play a little more conservative which is why the leafs carried the play. But we sure as hell deserved to play in the conference finals that year. What about the game before this when we beat you 7-2 did we deserve it then? Flyers were just better then the leafs those 2 years in a row when they eliminated them. Great series though.

@67Leafs the goal by Carolina in 2002 upsets me more than this! At least we were 2 games away from a stanely cup final birth, that was more emotional, Like this Sundin tied it even later then lost on a bullshit goal by Carolina. It woulda been Toronto vs Detroit for the cup....that woulda been a DREAM
