  • Federer's serve should be inspiration to short players, or guys who don't have a hard serve. It's more about placement than power.

  • @springfield03sniper sampras had an incredible serve too although i think he is shorter.

  • why did you put only the points of federerr winning?

  • how can a man be so precise he has to be super natural being.

  • Wanna change the title to Federer's Highlights?

  • this video is a bit biased...yea federer dominated in the first two sets but the last 2 went to tiebreakers, soderling played a solid match towards the end.

  • 19 people do not appreciate perfect tennis.

  • such a stupid video,just federer's winners..only a federer fan could make such a video(a worthless one)

  • @Teddytz

Don't fucking watch it then. Simple.

  • 5:06 that is absolutely ridiculous

    just effortless, it comes naturally

    peRFection

  • the legend .... working

  • Soderling should thank god he got one set... Wait never mind, you never thank your opponents

  • actually, now that i looked at this video, soderling didn't even win a point...

  • Is there soderling point??

  • 27 aces...not bad

  • Go roger 2012!

  • 4:18-4:27 a barrage of FED EXPRESS!!!!

  • When Federer is on his game, he will make you quit tennis.

  • i love how federer didnt lose a point the entire video

  • I miss that all-time crushing Federer ... I realy hope he will win at least 1 Grand Slam until his retirement ...

  • Soderling got Sodomized.

  • soderling needs to learn to move his feet

  • the "Oh my goodness" @ 1:31 is perfect

  • Anyone know the ace count for fed?

  • @killer38101 28.HOLY SHIT!!!0_0

thats 10 more compared to this year vs djokovic.

    28 ACES!!

  • @killer38101 stats for the match: Aces 28 DFS 3 1st serve% won 86% 2nd serve% won 56% winners 64 Unforced errors 26

  • Where are all the Söderling winners? He hit plenty of them.

I remember the 3rd and 4th set were actually more Söderling, but Federer managed to win the most important points.

  • @BrainSane237 this is a highlight of federer's points

  • How did Soderling even win a set?

  • that first set was ridiculous from federer, probably the hottest i've ever seen him, like the roddick AO match but i think soderling is a better player

  • @demondayzzz

yeah, I've never seen Fed hit such amazing shots so casually.

  • roger was free swinging

  • Roger plays magicaly in this match

  • i have no idea how federer lost this slam to delpotro he had so many chances to beat delpotro tha year

  • please read the info and username before complaining about the bias of the video

  • next time you upload a video called "Federer VS Somebody" make an attempt to show the other guy's best shots too

  • The reason this makes Federer look like Jesus is cause there isnt one point that Soderling wins... He just took all Federer's best clips... another Federer biased video

  • how many aces did Federer had in this match? it seems non-stop

  • @FreshFunds 28

  • @mamadou1224 28??! dang.....

  • one of his most dominating matches... soderling looks like a child

  • fantastic highlights @Federer2001 could not have done any better. as for those 13 idiots who disliked the video, you don't know what the definition of a tennis masterclass is. ill tell you in one name: Roger Federer

  • Comment removed

  • How many times did Soderling actually touch the ball ?

  • @cdn19940804 hahahahah

  • @cdn19940804 lots of times, it's just that the guy who compiled this video was very biased towards federer

  • Uhm, how many aces in this match for magic Fedex? :D

  • 7:52 what a brilliant volley from that position, he couldn't've done anything more with it

  • 4:18-4:25 wat the hell....

  • REDRUM

  • This looks so great, that it is rather surprising and an extraordinary accomplishment that Soderling was able to win a set.

  • that was retarded

  • how many aces did roger serve?

  • @steven860305

    A lot

  • i love it when his serve is on

  • Considering how badly he was getting beat in the first two sets, Soderling put on a valiant display in sets 3 and 4. 90% of the players probably would have called it a day and just gone through the motions in set 3. He almost forced a 5th set, as he had a set point or two.

  • @davd1986

    I agree!!

  • WTF HAHAHAHAHA

  • Go Home Roger

    Come on Söderling

  • @allemagne92 no actually soderling went home

  • 6:29 haha -- Federer almost got to do a smash in the lineman's face, the one that fucked up the point before in this highlights where Fed had to challenge. nice rapage

  • OMG ROGER TOTALLY RAPED HIM!!!

  • can anybody teach me how to run backwards and hit a forehand as fast as federer!?!?!?!?!?!?! 02:44

  • roger pwned him.. i feel bad

  • Thumbs Up if you watched the whole thing!!

  • i bet söderling won some good bballs to ^^

  • soderling will always suck until he realizes that you need more than just power to play..he puts madd power into all his shots without accuracy or thought of his next move..and hes not that strong either..he just has that youtek racket that generates alot of power effortlessly

  • Ouch 5:08 .. that was aweeeeeee some

  • fantastic highlights, great upload. thanks!

  • 2:02 that was a good ace right there

  • Comment removed

  • so, soderling didnt get any point???

  • i feel sorry for Soderling...

  • oh for fuck's sakes, why be such a fanboy/girl that you ONLY put Federer's highlights in the video? This was a good match

  • @StewNWT sry but if u didnt know 3 set win + bagel equals owned

  • sigh just enjoying his golden years now. he seems to be satisfied with what he has.

  • Not very good highlights too predictable, should rename the title

  • @quest8899 agreed. should be "roger federer US Open 2009" lol

  • Terrible, biased video. Only points of Federer winning.

  • Damn! i hate when they only show one players winning points!

  • how did he lose this grand slam...

  • @SeungriJun He lost to no.6 seed Juan Martin Del Porto

    in a 5-setter match

  • @SeungriJun the 09 US? Cuz Delpo played like a beast on steroids lol. Delpo was whackin the crap outta anything he could get a racket on and he was moving well enough to cover the court. It was a tough match

  • @SeungriJun - He said he was tired. I believe it with the twins.

  • @SeungriJun cuz he was shite in the final.

  • @SeungriJun Del Potro was too good lol

  • @SeungriJun delpo was just the better player than him. that's all.

  • @SeungriJun he must have lost his concentration, momentum or something..because up until the final, he was blowing everyone off the court..I was convinced the fed. would win the us open in 09, on the other hand, it was nice to see del potro win it, for a change.

  • @SeungriJun He served like crap in the final -_-

  • @SeungriJun he fucked up the 2nd set in the final

  • @SeungriJun because the oponent played so Much

  • @SeungriJun delpotro buy this slam or roger well gifted him this one :( i dont know why but thats the true

  • @TheDrunkGuineaPig1 yeah man roger had that one in his pocket he's far the better player and had his chances and suddenly he dindt make the points then :( but he'll win it this yeahr though :D

  • @greezall yeah i think so, but he isnt in the perfects fisical condition :/

  • @SeungriJun There was a HUGE difference in the way he served in the final compared to here.

  • @hattrickster33

Yeah his serve was shit in the final, couldn't get a first serve in. Cost him the match.

  • @SeungriJun roger probably lost his momentum/focus in the final..he shouldn´t have lost this us open, he was owning everybody until the final..at least he lost graciously..

  • @SeungriJun maybe federer did "deserve" to win, because he was the best player throughout the tournement and he had a lot of chances to beat del potro. But i really feel that del potro deserves some credit as well, I mean he played great and i feel very bad for him because he got injured so badly. That wrist injury prevented him from having a great carreer. Well, I hope that he can return to his old level soon.

  • @SeungriJun FEDERER LOST HIS COOL BECAUSE OF THAT HE LOST THE FINAL LOST HIS SLAM (he swore at the umpire)

  • @SeungriJun because Delpo absolutely owned him.

  • @ForeverMan91 What? 3-2,with Del Potro taking two sets in tie-break,and saving match balls in 4th set,Federer served on 5-4 in 5th. You called that ownage :D ?

  • @stanlee4

with "surprised me " i meant that he played really bad befor the HC season, did you saw Wimbledon or the french Open. In Wimbledon in the first Round his opponent already served for the match!!!

  • holy shit..

  • How did Rog not win the championship!?!?!?!?!

  • well okay federer surprised me how he plays this HC season. But Soderling should have won the third set! In the first he also started way better and almost got a break ( fucking one millimeter) federer is always the lucky guy. but if he wont loose against djokovic than definately against Nadal

  • @Jasminbaum Surprised you ?!!? He`s won 9 HC slams , you can't win that many by being lucky

  • @poostinkpoo1

well okay i gotta say federer surprised me how he plays this HC Season.

But Söderling should have won the third set! In the first he started way better than roger but was unlucky... he almost had the first break but than the ball was with one millimeter still in.(Federer is allways the lucky guy)Tschüss(bye)

  • this isn't a federer biased movie...seriously, the first 2 sets this was the actual HIGHLIGHTS..just federer playing close to his best tennis.

its only the 4th set where perhaps you can make a case for there not being enough soderling highlights in the video...

  • Who cares if it's biased lol!

The most important thing is Federer won.

  • I'm surprised Soderling did as well as he did with Federer in that form.

  • that's not 2010

  • 18 aces

  • 18 aces

  • This makes it look like Federer just dominated this guy. But he didn't. After the first set, it was pretty close. So the video could've showed some of Soderling's highlights too, instead of being one-sided like that.

  • My goodness just finished watching this vid, and I have to say that this is the most BIASED video I have EVER seen, not even ONE winning point shown for Soderling, come on now that is just SAD, I mean I am a Federer Fan, but seriously don't make biased videos, it doesn't look good.....

  • How bout you post the game between Federer and Berdych

  • i think this is one of his BEST matches ever!!!

  • 6-0 6-0 6-0 ???????

  • i got a gut feeling that federer will win this years us open(2010)

  • @rrr5050

me too, and I hope to see Federer beat Nadal at US Open 2010

    Good Luck, Roger!!!

  • soderling is damn difficult to play...he just pounds the ball and everything seems to go in!! but i have seen matches where soderling play's this agressive and very little finds the court lol

  • I laughed so hard sometimes during these highlights, gotta love the 10 in a row aceparts or how many he makes!

  • @simbanois: you know what i mean. fed´s got a grat serve, but it´s not easy to serve the same good in ervery match, you shoul know.

  • Love the sound of the ball hitting a racket at the us open...

  • @terminator8338 Same here man! Awesome!

  • federer ftw

  • i love the part of the video highlight where it was all aces

  • this service is so cruel for every opponent

  • @tvtotalforever DIDNT HAVE IT AGAINST DELPOTRO. IF HE HAD IT HE WOULD WIN 3-0

  • @simbanios yeah i know, but he had the win on his racket in the second set... del potro would not have recovered from this break, for sure... sadly..

  • Well this isn't a good video. Sure you show Fed's great shots but you completely neglect all of Soderling's

Just because you're a fanboy doesn't mean you can't be balanced

  • This isn't a Federer BIASED video at all..this is actually the highlights. Federer was absolutely sublime for 2 and a half sets..then Soderling came back into it. 3rd set could've got either way..then Soderling blew his chance in the 4th set. Ppl always criticize matches of Federer saying the video highlights are biased...but alot of the time those are actually the highlights of the match..just Federer hitting lots of winners..lol

  • Utter domination...

  • If Fed plays like this again he will take some beating

  • LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

this video! I hope he plays like this next month! PLLLLLLLLEEEAAASSSEEE, Roger, PPPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE

    WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN !!!!

  • Thanks for showing good highlights of Federer and Soderling winning points with no sign of favoring one player over the other.

  • This is a Federer frag-movie!

  • it feels like he had 50 aces

  • LOL at all the aces

  • I always Liked Soderling... And at the US Open2010 i bet he would defeat Federer in 3 or 4!!!

  • @Jasminbaum aha could you be any more wrong

  • I feel really bad for Soderling

  • I Like Söderling

  • nice video, I am surprised one sees federer winning most of he points, how did they get to play five sets?I think it is only fair to show fantastic points from both players. if soderling hadn't play well, the match would been over in the third set.

  • @kribistina It went to 4 sets, not 5 ( Federer 6-0, 6-3, 6-7,7-5 Soderling)

  • 1:30 = "oh my goodness"

  • OMFG. I didn't watch this match before. These highlights look like The Best Points from Federer's career. He is unstoppable, when plays his best.

  • Comment removed

  • wow!!!!!!!! Roger is the best ever. He is GOAT

  • no one better then federer:))))))))))

  • Federer playing this level just last summer. He still has game, even after French and Wimbie. He'll be back. The shots he took in here were ridiculous. Props to Soderling at least he took one set before his dismantling.

  • Federer did not get destroyed by Del Potro in the 09 final. It was five sets for goodness sakes, it's hardly a thrashing.

  • THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD QUALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Here we have another horrible Federer-biased video.

  • @DuckMilitia 1. it's not horrible, because it's Federer and it's amazing quality. 2. it's probably "Federer-biased" because this is the HIGHLIGHTS and Federer made all of the best shots

  • @aznking01010

So I guess that means Soderling made zero winners and/or won zero good points?

  • @DuckMilitia probs not

  • @DuckMilitia Easy, don't watch the video then!

  • Comment removed

  • Just watch 6:36 to 6:46 it pretty much summarizes the match. Wow Federer just unleashed his best game....like the way Soderling did in the French Open this year when he beat Fed :/

  • I my opinion, the us open has the surface, that best suit´s roger´s game..more so than wimbledon.

  • @reefric Not at all, it was just a great day for him and a bad day for Soderling. Nothing to do with the surface. For example, Federer got destroyed by Del Potro later in the tournament.

  • @explodingpimp I don´t see how roger got ``destroyed´´, as you said by del potro in the final, considering it was a tough 5 set match. and I do believe the surface at the us open, suit´s roger´s game the best, considering how fast, it play´s, it´s the best surface for shotmaker´s.

  • @reefric He did get destroyed in the last set. I think everyone agrees that 6-2 isn't very close. And no, there is no surface that suits Federer the best. If anything, grass would be a better pick, seeing as his grass record is better than his hard court record.

  • @explodingpimp I don´t agree, but that´s your opinion, it´s what you believe, I´m not going to argue with you about that.

  • nice selection of points... not

  • lol he owned soderling here

but he GOT OWNED by soderling at roland garros

  • @tennisproderek Indeed...that's how many wins for Soderling against Fed?

  • c'est comme ca qu'il aurait du jouer a roland garros quand on compare les deux matchs il a l'air beaucoup moins motivé et beaucoup plus nonchalant a roland garros
