  • A friend of mine owns an Alusky with heterochromia causing one eye to to blue but the Malamute side can be recognized by the curled tail in which huskies aren't known for that.

  • Well, of course there could be exceptions, haha, it must like on i a million. But you are correct, at least there are one malamute with not both brown eye's!

  • The only time my female got aggressive was when she had pups, otherwise, she and many other malamutes got along really good at dog shows and in public. Like I said, it depends on how the dog is socialized. My male did help in housebreaking Tom my cat. Aod yes, the are protective of all they love. Grizz killed a pitbull when it came onto the property n attacked the familly. Bad move on pitbull's part.

  • As a person who loves Malamutes and have raised them years ago, I have to disagree with what you said in the vid. They are not a domesticated wolf and like any other breed of dog if socialized are nnt aggressive towards other dogs of same sex. My male @ 170 lbs. adopted a kitten as his little buddy and protected it. It mainly depends on the person raising them as to how their social temperment is.

  • well, when i say "the domesticated wolf" it's more of a way people think of them, it's like their slogan. And when I say that they often are aggressive towards other dogs of the same sex, I don't mean that all of them are, and even so it's more common at the female part of the spice. And btw my dog also protects our cats towards other dogs/cats, but she is also very guarding towards them, like they ar allowed to walk but not to run or fight.

  • And I have also tried to take just that text about it's anger away by pasting some other fact in front of it, hope not every one is as fast to read as you, then they might skip that part of it's anger

  • Hi there! Great video...ours is Klondike and he's 7 months old now and weighs in at 100lbs. He grew up with our black lab and thinks he's a lab too! We live in Alaska and he is the most awesome family dog!!! Thanks again for the video!

  • hey there, agin... i was wondering after watching this agin, you said you can always recognize a malamutes by their brown eyes correct? so that means all malamutes have brown eyes? and if they don't would it not be considered a malamute, or just a rare case of one without brown eyes?

  • No, Malamutes always have brown eyes, unless it's an albino, if it doesn't have brown eyes it must be an other race involved in the breeding.

  • i have to say i like your videos, i love animals too! I've always been more of a cat person but Malamutes are amazing! i love huskys or anything that looks like one lol. im suprised your videos have so little views too.

  • wow, thanks, that's very nice of you! And I totally agree with you malamutes are amazing and Huskys to. And yeah, my video doesn't have especially many views, but I guess it's because I'm out concurred my everyone who already have uploaded videos about Malamutes, but maybe in a not so far distance my views will increase. Once again, Thank you for your comment!
