Hey all, this is Jonathon from the video. If you like these tutorials, I'm beginning to put my new ones up on my own channel. Just click my name (groovewindow) and sub, if you're interested. Otherwise, carry on!
1. try to understand where the left hand (LH) starts and when the RH comes in. LH and RH start together on the 1st C for the LH and the Eb on the RH,
2. try to understand how to alternate the left with the right when hitting the A (Left) then the 1st chord on right hand then Bb then the 2d chord on right hand like: left/right/left/right.
3. then, start slowly without the metronome to remember the chords and the way they interact with each other, and THEN start with the metronome VERY slowly
Just got it! Thanks Jonathon! It took me a while to understand what you meant about "interplay" but now it makes sense! I'll keep moving on to the next lesson... Feels like I've taken a big step forward today ;-) Thanx again!
@arthurleejoice so could youtell me what happens when you hit the last two notes in the left hand there in the right hand? are the thirds in the right hand together with the last two notes in the left hand or are the for example in the fisthalf of the right pattern C´s toegther with the last two notes in the left hand?

hey jonathan , would u pls add left AND right hand together and slowly. i dont get the "groove" of ur masterpiece. i think many ppl have problem with combining the hands
The problem of this method is that the demonstrator should have given a standard written sample with both hands together ,like it is usually done in all of the piano literature jazz or classical, because than it would have been easier
this guy looks like a half human half troll monster thing that crawled out of an elfs vagina and was mutated at birth with hideous defects, through plastic surgery he was able to help his face but not by much its still terrible.
overview, melody lead in, bass line, right hand comp, more right hand comp, stab breaks, hangs, bass octaves, riffs, stops & glissandos, tremolo, double stops, left, rolling blues chord, accent notes, aggressive rifffs, riff variation, funk piano song.
most are in the right order, a couple i wasnt sure about
Hi guys. You've probably noticed the order and titles of this video series is a bit confusing and screwed up on youtube. so i've numbered and ordered them , and added links to the backing track , you can find it here:

There's also other video lessons on there as well so feel free to signup and rate / comment.
I appreciate your lessons. I think it would be helpful if you could play the right and left hands together slowly. We've got the right hand slow in this lesson, the left hand slow from before, and both hands together at regular tempo. But we don't have both hands slowly. Cheers!
why don't you show hands separate slowly???
