Great wah, proof that you dont need a fasel inductor to get an excellent tone. FOr me this is the best pedal in the Dunlop range.

By far the best Wah Pedal I've ever bought and I've pretty much owned all of the Dunlop's current range. It doesn't get harsh and is very good at the whole vocal wah sound. Also, one thing I did notice about this Wah is that it ONLY sounds good when the amp is cranked. At low volumes its very hard to hear but high volumes, hang on tight cos its very powerful when in use.

@asianaxeman If you were referring to the JC95 sounding better than the Wylde wah, I would disagree. I like the throatier sound of the Wylde wah. It sounds a bit darker and more menacing than the Cantrell wah, at least to my ears. If I had a choice though, I'd take the Dimebag wah over anything else.

@ryane323 I've had the dimebag too. The problem with the dimebag and the wylde is that they are less versatile and tend to suit very downtuned styles since they have minimal range on the notes in higher registers. I've got the JC95 on my pedalboard at the mo but my fave is the buddy guy- extremely organic and versatile, I use it on the slither solo check my video!

@asianaxeman I agree with you about the limited higher range sweep but I found that the stock Cry Baby wasn't much better, and I just found the overall sound of the Wylde wah to be more pleasing to my ear. The Buddy guy is more of a blues wah IMO, great full sound, just not the type of wah I needed for the majority of the music I play.

You can get really close by rolling the tone knob back. 

Toss in that you can bring the EQ sharper and this wah is far more useful than the Wylde
