i've been trying to do this all day with buttons instead of beads, my chain kept breaking. so i gave up.. but i'm hoping that i can get it right with a better chain, is there any point where a chain is too small for this ?
@nomesy81 Hmm, not quite sure what you mean about the chain being too small. Do you mean the link sizes? If you are using something very fine like trace chain you may have a problem but normal light or heavy chain should be tough enough to take buttons in the same way it takes beads.
Thank you for your video. I always closed the loop then reopened it to hook it onto the chain and the loop always break. Your method is so much easy and quicker.
@theMissdoubledouble Do you mean normal dressmakers pins? If so, i'm afraid not, they would be too stiff and also have the sharp point at the end. Headpins have a flat end so aren't sharp and are bendable.
this vidio helped me a lot now every one whants one at my school.its so funny how many people ask me to make them a day,now i sell them for 10 dollers they still sell really fast
i have almost 500 dollers every week but i spend some of it on beads and string
Thanks for your comment. If you visit our website (beadsunlimited) you'll be able to find all the items you need. We do a variety of glass bead mixes including plain glass, fancy glass and high quality glass that are great for this project. If you want a chunky look, try heavy chain or if you fancy something more delicate, try light chain.

@21cutte Some beads you can - for instance a large donut can work as a bead or a pendant.
