You can still get trophies =D.. I just got platinum... BUT I couldn't jump over the head of the judge :( anyway, I skipped other parts of the game, I never saw aphrodite or cronos, I ended up the game with the infinite life and full power weapons in about 5 hours...

@AQWSoulsedge I broke the chain on first visit to the judges (as opposed to breaking them on second visit). You're not supposed to do that ...

@xcorerawr I've never done it by dropping from the rope, so I can't say. Search for a YT user called "romvaleri", I think he has a tutorial on how to do it via the rope dropping way.

@xcorerawr You probably haven't jet dashed your way through the gate in the beginning and just done the trials before being able to reach the heads, did that aswell and the chains kept floating

I don't know why this won't work for me. I did everything you said, the cutscene played, the next room loaded, but when I got to Hermes, nothing happened. I still had to kill Hermes and do everything else to get to the end of the game... :(

Is there a better more effecive way to do the high jump? I cannot do this one at all. It never takes me up higher.

@millgiass There is combat grapple high jump, but that requires an enemy to do that. I suggest that instead of jumping over the judge's head...go to the rope near the pandora statue and simply drop down. This has worked for SOME people, tho I've yet to do it like that.

Ok so I can tell you that I tried the glitch, I succeeded, got the cutscene and everything, I just played on, saved as normal and stuff, I got to Hermes, everything worked, I got to the end right after climbing up the chain, finished the game, got the trophy of finishing titan mode. Everything works perfectly and you will just complety the game as normal so everyone, try it! Thanks man.

Hey Findle,

After you've destroyed the three Onyx Crystals, you don't need to high-jump over the judge's head. Instead, just follow the normal game path untill you must cross an iron chain. (Not the Chain of Balance just a small chain.)

Cross it, and than just glide to the left where the chain of belance is. The game should just act as normal, and it won't crash or something like that. For other gamers I think this is much easier then high-jumping over the head.

@findlestick Yes it does work for me, Actually it doesn't matter which way you do it because you just need to prevent getting that game crash. If you prevent that by either high-jumping or gliding it doesn't matter how you do it.

You only need to prevent that game crash which you get by going through the portal.

@SuperWolf3 That's good, but in a speedrun this way is quicker because once you jump over the judges head and break the chain, you can then do a high jump/Jet dash from on top of the Trials area (podium that Kratos reads) to the area past the horizontal rope. Thus skipping the Pandora cutscene at the start of the rope and extra navigation.

@HunQ Ive never tried saving halfway through the process, so I couldn't say. Personally I would use the Autosave if the game froze during the cutscene.

I've tried it with patch and without patch, and it always freezes just after the cutscene with chains breaking. Is there anything specific that can be done to limit the chance of it freezing, like don't use checkpoints, reload with the actual save, or saving after jumping over the heads?

@ValhallaRedux The game is very unstable at the point of breaking the chain, (since it's not supposed to be done yet) it does freeze on some attempts and not on others. It's still unknown why this is, at this date. Just load the "Auto Save" and try again if it does freeze.

@findlestick I finally got it to work, I think my problem was speed, as I don't think I was making my way from head to head (to lever) to head then smashing them quickly enough. I'm just trying to figure out where to from now (as the statues are gone).

@ValhallaRedux Great! All you need to do is play the game normally now (make sure to do the trials first tho, or the next area wont load). When you get to the Blue Flame for the 1st time, the game will let you rotate the crank all the way around, thus taking you to Zeus. If the Judges are 100% gone (not just headless) it means you've done it right. Let us know how you go.

@findlestick The Judges were headless, I played on like normal and I beat the game. I was also able to unlock trophies doing it (as I never used different skins or the Possessions of the Gods) which surprised me a bit as I didn't expect it to. I also did with the 1,01 patch.

@HunQ yes it works on every difficulty. It seems to be a time issue. If your too fast it wont work and if your too slow it wont work. I can't figure the timing out, but it works for me 80% of the time now.

@HunQ the way it works for me, I go as fast as possible to hades, skip any thing you can, keep your speed up until right before you see the judges. Don't kill the bats, jump to the platform and as quickly as you can get to the top. I normally have the nemisis whip already active. When I get to the judges I kinda do a slower pace but still jump enemies and fly across hallways. And when you jump over the judges head make sure you land by the chain, anywhere else it seems not to work. Good luck

@HunQ yes, I died and restarted at checkpoint, finished up with the judges and it worked. The jump is a bit tricky. When you jump hit x once not twice. Then hit L1, Square and X at the same time. I normally stand right behind where his head is, or at the corner. Just practice your jump and find what works for you, good luck

Press X and then INSTANTLY Press X, Square+L1. But here are a couple of extra tips:

1. Take a bit of a "run up".

2. The gap between the first X and the second X must be very quick.

3. At the end, keep Square+L1 pressed for as long as you can. (Until Kratos' hand does that little "lift")

~The rest is just practice.

I use a capture card, some use a DVD-RW recording player. Video quality isn't everything, although sometimes video quality helps to bring especially epic glitches better justice.

The best way I can tell everyone how to do this, don't waste time. When you break the first crystal hurry up and break the others and follow the rules to a tee. I don't know if this makes a difference but I had all my godly possessions turned off. I'm gonna try and record my own version of this to prove it can be done
