  • nice

  • Shame about the wind

  • got boner?

    i do.....

  • man shes all v8 mack i think its about 650-700 hp

  • what is it for an engine, mack or cat v8

  • i miss that sound

  • jeeze! all those wheels, must have the turning radius of a cruise ship! lol

  • was,jy,vrachtwagen,chauffeur,fits,you,vry,werk,opjezelf,geen,moeilyk,gedoe,zwaar

  • at least you dont have to carry around a jug of UREA...... ( simply known as cow piss)

  • omg that sounds soo sweet compared to some of the new trucks they are bringing into new zealand ...they are starting to put that ad blue shit into trucks and it quietens the baffles in the mufflers.

  • sounds like da choppa!!!!!

  • ive herd, seen and driven a lot of v8 macks here in nz, but that would have to be the crispest sounding dog ever, awsome vid mate

  • SHIT THAT SOUNDS FAT !!!!f

  • SHIT THAT SOUNDS FAT !!!!f

  • Is that Steve Edwards old truck ,I think he sold to a guy called Robbie?

  • Gotta love that deep roar that a mack produces

  • The biggest mistake mack ever made was dropping the V8 superliners!!!!

  • scania is better

  • @swedengines scania can suck my cock, their a gutless piece of shit compared to the V8 superliners, i would not even piss on a scania if it was on fire!

  • @tc2595 were do want it to be delivered for sucking your cock? It will cost 1000 euro but i promise it will be a nice moment for you two! Oh, i only accept paying in paypal =)

  • @tc2595 Check your facts, the V8 in the mack superliner is a copy of the scania V8, it is a common known fack, we own an 89 superliner with a 500 in it, trust me it is true.

  • G'day mate, top video, cant beet them old superliners.

  • That is the coolest sound ever!! To bad fuel is so much, there pigs! I'm Canadian and I think thats a big truck! We got big but they got bigger!!

  • 6 chains for Approx 180,000#.. or about #30,000 per chain.. Problem officer?

  • @hwoods01 Gravity will hold it down...trust me...I carried 2 half tracks over 500 miles once and forgot to chain down the rear one. It never moved an inch.

  • Now that`s a proper truck

  • Not a bad sound, it sounds like a Screamin' Jimmy that has more growl than scream... still nice. :3

  • If you want a real truck , you need to get a Mack

  • This is what I call... POWER!!

  • wow that sounds the dogs !

  • idk but my C-16,18 speed, and 4:88s are pretty nice around here.she dont smoke, but i here international is building cats new engines.what a shame.the smog police are killing us! california voters take notice!

  • @308scoutrfl navistar is building the new caterpillar motors... Its a damn shame. California is screwing it up for everybody...

  • @ksmitty79 What a crock of crap? Where did you read that from? CAT is only building off highway equipment and engines, they are not building on highway engines. International is not building any CAT motors, that makes zero sense at all. It's not California its the EPA. Lastly, were moving into the future we need to be responsible for the environment and for our future health. California used to be a smog pit, years later it's look really good. Asthma, lung disease and cancer are serious.

  • @studpuppy69 hey uhh not to make you look stupid but that guys 100% right cat is coming out with their own line of trucks and it is going to use a navistar fuel and air system but it will keep the c15 and c13 blocks

  • @230bj The only remote thing I could find dates back into 2008 and it would only be in Australia. There was one mention in 2010 about it again. It doesn't make sense. Why would CAT build trucks? And why would International partner with CAT to build truck, when Navistar/International make their own trucks and engines. International is already in Australia so why would they create competition and confusion? C13/C15 are piles of shit. What can I say...

  • @studpuppy69 agreeable the 3406 and the 3408 were great motors but acerts were shit.. but just go to cats website its legit type in cat vocational truck on youtube and itll come up

  • What a fuckin beast.

  • classic e9 ,v8 ,,the greatest name in American trucks now owned by Renault,"1990",driven one of the newer 454 hp in-line 6's,,Give me the v8 anyday,,

  • No better heavy hauler than a Mack :D

  • same sound as a scania v8 :D haha ! love the sound of a v8 diesel :D

  • I used to drive one of these in New Zealand. The cabs aren't much to write about, but those engines - they are absolutely legendary. My one had done close to 1.7 million kilometres when I left, and it is still going, no oil leaks. Fantastic trucks, one of my all time favourites.

  • probly my favourite video, just because the thump of that V8 is just pure AWESOME !!

  • pleas searg for a scania 144-530, you will love that sound m8

  • @cehisa Smoke doesn't do anything to ozone layer. The soot falls to earth. But breathing it while air born is linked to lung cancer and other respiratory problems. But that does not stop me from loving it!

  • Comment removed

  • @cehisa Wouldn't say they suck balls, but fuck i was disappointed when i found out you cant mod the exhaust on the new R730 Scania...

You cant even hear the new mercs, scanias and volvos now :(

  • @cehisa In truck the sound isn't most important. What most important is small costs of transport because trucks are part of national economy!

  • @cehisa this one sound like a fart too

  • @cehisa Scania's V8 isn't bad. Alot more overpowerd then an Mack. But still, Mack, Peterbilt and Kenworth is MUCH more awesome!

  • That's a nice Mack. Sweet looking paintjob.

  • if u guy;s like the sound of a big v8 diesel, u need to listin to the europien brand scania v8

LOVE the sound of a v8 diesel

  • ahahaha euro trash yeh right!

  • Nothin can come close to an old mack motor for power and reliability.....the new ones, thats another story.

  • @ledfoot73 mack is known for power and durability not for reliability

  • @2011Transformersdotm thats your opinion, I have ran old macks over the road and off road...never left me stranded. Its been 20 years.

  • NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT

  • @bazzab0mg08

Even though this video is in Australia and the Toureg isn't designed for towing heavy loads, try to drive it down the road with something like that and see how fast your engine overheats.

  • Wow, you may actually be retarded. These trucks make thousands of pound feet of torque your precious toureg doesn't even make 500.

  • @bazzab0mg08 :

Yeah sure, you keep thinking that. We won't burst your bubble.

  • WHAT A MACHINEEEE!!

  • Cooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big bad bulldawg!

  • NEVER LATE WITH A V8!!!

  • I guess you have never driven a C-15 Cat. V-8 Macks don't last unless in a dump truck.

  • yea actually i have v8 power totally kick i6s ass and let 2 million miles prove as a testament to v8 power

  • lol

  • as well as scania proving the v8 has more life in it....look at all the new models , still the same 8v engine as they used in the 70s lmao......ive seen more 6's on the side of the road than v8s :)

  • Arrgg!! fuckin wind! Stop blowin!

That Mack sounds awesome! Sounds like a really big Powerstroke Diesel.

  • damn, how big is the site that this dozer is going to? that thing is huge.

  • That v8 mack has no problem pulling that.

  • damn thats a sick ass bulldog!

  • Magic, absolute magic

always loved the sound of those V8s

that fella obviously loves that rig looking at the condition of her. Well done mate.

    col

    NZ

  • at the end of the day ankles a trucks a truck if it does the job makes u money ifs just a few hundred grand pile of scrap steel .

  • Mack is good, but if they were Cummins powered they'd be the best.

  • thats sick!

  • looks like a gerbil pulling a radio flyer wagon.

  • I just got a hard on!

  • AIN'T NOTHIN LIKE A SUPERDOG!!!! especially with a 525hp mack V8 E9 in it!!!!

    5 STARS all the way!!!!

  • hahns mate u got ur points but i agree with peter . i just took the new actros 660 v8 merc gross 120 for a spin and i tell u it would give a 600 cat or ixc a run for its money .

  • Your dreamin benz dont even count as a real truck

  • V8 diesels sound like garbage...

  • hahaah they maby sound like garbage (to you) but they will outpull every i6 you can find!

  • Keep telling yourself that, the I6 is superior in every way, including low end torque.

  • keep dreamnig son keep dreaming...

  • Keep ignoring facts son, keep ignoring... There's a reason the I6 is most widely used in trucks, V8s have more parts, take up more room and the only real thing it has over the I6 is that it can rev higher but who cares?

  • then why i ask you why was almost every major engine in the 60 through 80s v8 lets see the~ e9, the 8v53,8v71, 8v92, 3408,3208, hell even the v903 cummins and you onley like i6s cause youve never in a v8

  • TELL ME what is better about a V8? Fucking tell me! You haven't had a single factual statement so fuck off until you do. YOU ARE WRONG!

All of those V8s were piles of shit, that's why they aren't used today, it's added complexity for no gain! Like I said the I6 is superior. Notice the other push-pull vids on this channel? The western star has an I6 and is rated 175HP more than the Mack. So you've already lost your "they will outpull every i6 you can find! " argument.

  • dude youve never been in a goddamn v8 my pop had a w359 with a 3508 and a 5x5 it outpulled v12 detroits and the kta cummins....dude every europian truck has a v8 dude so fuck off needledick v8s are kinhg i6s are cheapo piles of shit

  • The 3508 is a genset/marine engine, try again!! The I6 can do everything a V8 can do with 30% less parts, getting better fuel mileage, better low end torque, all while sounding 10x more badass!

  • whatever man like i said just stick to broncos alright ill believe hat i want to believe and if you dont like v8s then why are you on this damn video

  • and the v8 mack was pulling 140 tonnes no problem lets see any i6 do that

  • and big i6 cummins in the star hahaha it needs help by guess what A V8 SUPERLINER

  • considering the onley vid you have is shifting a little 9speed with what a 8.3 ha dude v8 are kind i guess thats why every europian truck has a v8 ...or a option of a v8 you just stick to ford broncos ok?

  • Comment removed

  • any body have paper towel?????????? lol

  • six chains.

  • What an exhaust note!

  • Where'd u put the cab lol

  • ew that machine sound makes me horny

  • kewl.. wheres the cab for the d11? lol must have been too high for travel

  • Right, the load is to tall.. had to remove the ROPS, cab, exhaust pipes, and lift cylinders. Thats why they use rail trailers to haul em around in the states.

  • We haul 'em on trucks in the States, too. We just use lower trailers.

  • I dont reckon it sounds anything like a Scania V8, sounds a lot deeper, but hell, I love 'em both.

Shame there's bugger all Macks on the roads here in NZ.

  • Awesome!!

  • Music to my ears!! A cracklin V8!!

  • That Mack kicks ass!!! And that engine sounds mean as hell!!!!! You boys down under know how to do it big!!!!!!

  • that is such a nice superliner i would kill to have that truck

  • is an awesome truck mate... you should see the interior its heaps awesome.

  • yer he is right scania ad mack same block but all the other parts are differetnt but yer same block only in the v8's tho

  • i seen one and only one mack here in canada with a scania motor and it was a 6 cyl in a mid 80,s r model tandem dump truck.. very strange for these parts

  • 500 macks and 12 speeds forever!!!

  • nice lookin ol mack

  • Mack always had the 16.4L V8 in their lineup in both the U.S. and Australia with France to follow lots of years later (Renault Magnum V8). At the time Scania's displacement was only at 14.2L until a few years ago when they replaced the 14.2L V8 with their own 16.4L V8, but in comparison, there is no way that Scania and Mack developed the 16.4L V8 jointly.

  • aussiedusty(v8 scania and mack both the same engine)just 1 comes out the front door and 1 comes out the back door.but i agree they have a sound of their own.

  • mitchellcorp what did you mean v8 scania and mack is the same engine?I know scania has developed for mack direct fuel injection in the 60s,and selling muck buses in sweden but never hear of a engine developed togeather

  • hate to burst your bubble mitchellcorp. but the mack v8 is 16.4 litres displacement the new scania v8 is 15.6 litres also the mack v8 is 90 degree banked and the scania is 60 degree, so they are not or ever will be the same engine, scania signed a deal with cummins usa to supply technology for the cummins signature fuel pumps, thats why cummins gets massive fuel pressure same as the scania v8. If you listen to them they sound different because of the 90 vs 60 degree banked

  • Sounds great!! Too bad the wind was blowing.

  • love the growl of a V8 mack and wen the pumps been wound up a bit let the black smoke pour outa the stacks

  • haha dickhead simple question and u gotta write sht like that hey

  • power house

  • wat motor and box is in it

  • READ title fag. V8... the trans i dunno

  • Friggin' Awesome videos bud!!!

  • shouldnt be a day cab...nice trailer tho

  • that v8 sounds good coming threw them big 8s

  • Got that right friend!!!

  • Sweet super dog. We had one back in the early 80's. I wish I had it back!

  • Man, I wish trucks hear in the states still sound like that!

  • they do if you live in the right area here in pa we have alot that still sound just like this mack and damm nice looking just local trucks for moveing over size loads

  • Shame about the wind. How wide is the trailer.

  • you should bring that beast over here to the states and pull

  • badass truck and damn thats a big load

  • wow, thats a very nice looking mack superliner. what year is it? my dad owned a 82 superliner, except it had a big cam 3 cummins in it with a 13 speed OD.

  • That truck is a 11/1989 Series II - it has a E9-525 V8 with an inline fuel pump fitted new in 2002...

  • Jon,

Boy would I love that sound on me phone as a ringtone! Mate, she sounds good - better than a mate's SuperLiner tow truck!

    Joe
