UN propaganda. UNICEF put the wells there, they built them as cheaply as they could therefore they were very shallow. That is why the naturally occuring arsenic is leaching into the water, if the wells had been dug deeper or if UNICEF had actually tested the water for arsenic at any point, Bangladesh would not be in this situation!

This isn't just a third world problem. In northern Ontario alot of the granite has silver cobalt ores that contain litterally tonnes of Arsenic that leaches into some of the ground water.
