  • Funny how when Hummer comes out with a bed on both of there models. Chrysler goes out and says they might make one. Yeah there was the CJ8 Scrambler and the Commanche Jeep but they were American Motors Corporation products.

  • Awesome looking SUV's, so fun to drive, too bad they are made mostly of plastic, inside and out.

  • @beastgunner1 right, perhaps you need to take another look at the truck again

  • @ghy252 I "take a look" at mine every day, Its fun to drive and it drives great but either way its still mosty plastic, from the hub caps to the interior detail all the way to the radiator. Fuckin' smartass.

  • @beastgunner1 uhh, how dumb are you? if you were to actually break it down, over 75% of the components are metal, and plastic is used to cut down on weight, because its cheaper, and no one in their right mind uses metal for everything because the car would weigh 10000 pounds. Plus parts cars are made to break in a wreck in order to protect the driver. So i believe you are the sma....i mean dumb ass

  • @ghy252 First of all the aluminum is designed to "bend" and be lightweight to keep from crushing the passengers not "break" Most cars have been made to bend since the 90's when safety ratings became a major selling point in cars, breaking, as you put it, would cause sharp objects that would tear your ignorant ass apart in a wreck. The only metal parts in my car are the engine block, engine compartment and the chasis, which was taken from a Chevy Colorado.

  • @beastgunner1 OK, here is where your wrong, the doors, roof, floor, firewall etc are all metal, thin sheet metal but metal none the less. Secondly, the H3 is only 10% similar to the colorado chassis. The colorado chassis was starting point, but it was completely redesigned for the H3, more cross members, stronger mounting points, fully wrapped frame, etc. The H3 and colorado are in no way the same. Perhaps you should learn a little more about your vehicle than you think you know.

  • This obstacle is all about the driver; which this was a very good driver! I have seen Hell's Revenge Escalator done by many stock vehicles before, so I know it can be done. However, I have seen some extreme setups that have a hard time with it, because the drivers suck. They just put all kinds of money into their machines and really never learn how to use them.

  • now let's see him do it when there's snow on it

  • Funny, all of the videos of Jeeps on the Hell's Revenge Escalator course that are posted on YouTube are FAR from being stock...... Hmmmmmm???? Denial??? It's awesome to see that my fiance's stock Hummer can do what your stock Jeep can't.

  • Funny, all of the videos of Jeeps on the Hell's Revenge Escalator course that are posted on YouTube are FAR from being stock...... Hmmmmmm???? Denial???

  • hooooooooooooooooo,that the carrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr hummer

  • 5*****

  • I'm a Landcruiser man through and through, but this was beautiful! Job well done!

  • amazing to see so many jeeps and offroad mods fail but H3 from the factory can do it easy!

  • @celtpilot i guess you have never seen a jeep b4 cuz i jeep could do this no problem

  • @jellybean3264 and i toyota could do what your jeep could do plus

  • this looks like a great place for NASA to fake a Mars landing,......

  • 1,27 i love sound vrrrrr

My dad are got a Hummer H3 2,5

    

  • How many stock suv do you see do that

  • @goodtimes928 Lada Niva :-P

  • Who yelled aftermarket tires. Those appear to be the stock adventure Bridgestones.

  • Rock on HUMMER!

  • thts way dumb ...especially on the escalator!!!!!!

  • This actually looks very composed and at home

  • I wud say on this hill H3 did the Best good driving skill and good Spotter :-)

  • Geez, these Hummers make it look easy.

  • "Like nothing else"

  • Lol those are stock tires

  • Excellent driving skills! The H3 is the most amazing off-road stock SUVs I've ever driven in, couple that with a great driver ( like the one in this video ) and you have a potent package. Great vid!

  • 1:28 the Hummer is looking rihgt at you.

  • 2:16 all of the weight on that back tire... its def not liking it...

  • are the h3's pretty good offroad?

  • Yes. The H3, particularly with the Adventure package, is one of the best showroom-stock offroad vehicles you can buy. It'll follow a showroom-stock Rubicon almost anywhere, is more practical for every day use and the gas mileage is almost the same.

That and you can get them pretty cheap now. You can get an '06-'07 Adventure for under $20k.

  • yawn...... buy a JEEP!!!!!!!!!! gees!!! a open/open jeep could do that and shit i could take my dads truck up on the sidewalls how about going in the holes and flexxing....

  • @justin1989001 "russ on hells gate" stock open/open jeep made it. its all about the driver.

  • @09adge13 oh i know its driver i just like givin shit to hummers.... hell my buddy has a 02 TJ on 33's open/open and did like it wasnt there....

  • @optiplex454 oh really?? gee i was there when my friends jeep TJ thats open/open did it

  • aftermarket tires? lol

  • MOVE! a baja bug would have skipped up that 20 times by now.

  • @vagrantr Maybe, with a million scratches down the side. This dude has a nice ride, and he knows how to use it, and takes good care of it.

  • @vagrantr You should rub ur pee pee all over the next baja bug you see then. A helicopter could fly over it. Douche.

  • this isn't an alpha, look at the head rests, it's got the luxury package with the off road package, but no v8

  • @75Manson You're correct. This H3 does not have the alpha badge on the side either.

  • You cannot say hummer h3 doesnt do well after watching this.

  • @bigwood212 the h3 sucks dick, thats a h3 alpha

  • @youngnutsack17 Only the engine is different. If you think it changes anything in low range your wrong.

  • @bigwood212 and the independent traction control system...that right there is a huge diffrence. so you are wrong

  • @youngnutsack17 LOL! yea just like the stock H3 does. lol.

  • @youngnutsack17 I have one. Trust me the only difference is the engine. Everything else is the same. Also the traction control is nothing compare to the front and rear locking differentials... It can be added to either of them and lockers are the ultimate traction control.

  • @bigwood212 what about the interior, the leather and h3 alpha logos make a huge difference when your rock crawling...

  • Great vid, shows what is important, A great spotter and a great driver.

  • humm, if you crash an old jeep or an old truck it's fine, it's not gonna cost you much but if you crash in this it's gonna cost ya !!!!

  • Why do jeep fan-boys post hate about hummers? It doesnt seem to go the other way. I had a jeep wrangler and now a hummer h3 and hands down the hummer h3 is the way to go. Sorry guys but the hummer h3 can do 99% of what the jeep can do and I can drive home in comfort after. Hummer h3 is just a better all around vehicle. I even get better gas mileage. And no its not a hummer h1 but is $150,000 less. So stop comparing it. Thats like me comparing a Ferrari to a honda civic.

  • @bigwood212

I don't hate H3 but your 'Ferrari' to a honda civic' really made me laugh!

Your H3 is hardly - 'Ferrari of 4x4'. Neither it comes close to luxury of Range Rover. I have no doubts that you had older 2 door Wrangler. Having driven both H3 and new Rubicon Unlimited all I can say to you - you don't know what you talking about.

  • @zrvpvo8789 you made me laugh

  • @bigwood212 To me - H2 and H3 is nothing more then Hummer wanna to be. Keep laughing.

  • @zrvpvo8789 Its ok... you were blinded by haterade and didnt really know what you were reading. All you know is you seen a video of someone offroading in a H3 and needed to talk trash. Now you just look like an idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • @zrvpvo8789 HAHA! PAY ATTENTION IDIOT YOUR MAKING YOURSELF SEEM SO DUM RIGHT NOW. Again I said comparing the hummer h1 to a hummer h3 is like a ferrari to a honda civic. LOL! I am saying hummer h1 = ferrari of offroad = $150,000 and makes hummer h3 look like a civic. LOL! omg pay attention if your going to dish out hate. Everyone must be laughing at your blind hate now lol. you should just change your name or something.

  • @bigwood212

'Hummer h3 is just a better all around vehicle. I even get better gas mileage. And no its not a hummer h1 but is $150,000 less. So stop comparing it. Thats like me comparing a Ferrari to a honda civic. '

Like I said - go back to school jackass.

  • @zrvpvo8789 LOL you make no sense. You failed at your hating attempt and now your attacking me for bad grammar on youtube in hope of recovering? Such a standard hater move. You continue to look like an idiot.... hope it works well for you in other posts. No doubt your prob posting in all hummer h3 vids. NOBODY CARES ABOUT GRAMMAR ON YOUTUBE! YOU FAIL!

  • @zrvpvo8789 just so everyone knows now he's deleting his idiot comments. hahaha

  • @bigwood212 Grow the fuck UP you idiot.

  • @zrvpvo8789 i think thats your problem

  • @zrvpvo8789 you're fucking retarded

  • @zrvpvo8789 "You dont know what you are talking about" haha If you actually read that post again. I say comparing a hummer h1 to a hummer h3 is like comparing a ferrari to a honda civic. Think about that for a second and then smack yourself in the head.

And my jeep was a ruby. I still stand by the h3 can do 99% off road the stock jeep could and h3 is better overall vehicle.

  • @bigwood212 I think it's inexperience. I have owned CJ's, Wranglers, Cherokees and even a Grand Cherokee - all of them lifted (properly) with extras like winches and skid plates and all that. I just bought an H3 and to be honest, it does everything just as well as any of my Jeeps did, plus it's a nice ride when you're not out on the trails. I am going to let them hate on my H3 as much as they want - I won't hear them anyways between the great monsoon sound system and the airtight seal.

  • Using it for what its designed for, kudos to you

  • @quiksilvermanblue no kidding

  • You gotta love it, We just traded our 2005 H3 For a new H3 Alpha. We tortured the 05 offroad and it took everything we thru at it. The H3 is Crazy cool because of the increased horsepower of the V8. I love to climb the same stuff the guys in their tricked out jeeps do. I cant do all of it but most. They love the fact that I rail my new rigs offroad. Thatls what it was designed for.... Hummers kick serious Ass.

  • hummers are good, but land roves are better, thats my personal opinion, dont kill me for it, but i will admit, the hummer brand does get better lookin.

  • @296jayce not killing you for it, just disagreeing: LR's will tip over on turns and break down more frequently. They're more fragile.

  • @phrawgg2 i'll give u the flipping over, but braking down, im not sure about, my parents have had there lr for about 3-4 years now, and did not have to do much but put gas i it, oil & filter (rarely), and changed brakes only once, and we did not even need to, most of it was still there. but thats all just personal experience. i just say this, there both better than jeep. :)

  • @296jayce Land/Range Rovers have reputation of poor reliability. Your parents simply lucky.

  • @zrvpvo8789 well i mean it depends on where u r, u may hear different stuff in different places, all the ppl i know, or have talked to has said that they r reliable, but i guess its ur call. :)

  • @296jayce

Ask mechanics what they think about 'Lucas' - you'll get the idea.

Land Rovers became much better since they were taken over by Ford, BMW.

Yet, they still have many issues. I had one so as dozens of people that I know. More then one person 'lemon law' his/hers LR.

  • @123A1231 well ya, im not saying that land rovers are perfect, but i mean, hummers and all vehicles 4 that matter have some kind of problems, im talking that they do last a long time if keep them right, all cars will last longer or shorter, depending on how keep them, why dont we agree that land rovers have there advantages, just like hummers, and others. :)

  • @296jayce True, there is no perfect vehicle.

  • ive seen jeeps strgle here, why do they talk so much shit abou hummers

  • @badguv13 because jeep fanboys are like apple fanboys. They just need you to know theres is better no matter what and yours sucks.

  • nice truck, can't wait to see what people will do with the new Jeep Lower Forty... it's going to be insane

  • impressive, nice job!

  • Nice to see an SUV being used correctly ;)

...unlike those posers with their oversized rims that are useless off-road. Honestly, great job!

  • @AWDfreak i completely agree, i hate the posers that put huge rims and rubber band size tires and say they can off road.

  • @AWDfreak I completely agree...however, we all know that anyone that spends 1500.00 just on huge blinging rims never dare take their vehicles off road, 4 wheel drive is just a show for them..... (I think it's some sort of new status symbol, like a wife with a boob job or something, nice to look at but no fun to play with?

  • @jhcopen It truly is a shame... all that potential just put to waste by someone who should be driving some crossover SUV instead...

  • Nice vid, I think the spotter was a little over enthusiastic lol.

  • Comment removed

  • Because this is what it was designed for.

  • dumb ass

  • @leech9211 callin me a dumbass well you a punk as bitch

  • hey, retard its an h3 not an h2

  • @PDAWGARCIA why buy a car if you cant have fun with it?

  • Anything go just about anywhere with lockers even if they are factory. sure it doesn't have great flex or anything but as long as your a smart drive like we see here your gonna go just about anywhere.

  • I own an H3 Alpha and can testify to it's capability. I am a 20-year Army vet (Infantry) and a native of West Virginia. This is the most capable truck that I've ever owned. It handles the snow, ice, mud, sand, etc. like a champ if you drive with some sense and put good tires on it.

  • CLASS

  • nice teamwork! (driver and spotter)

  • Hummers aren't good off-road, but here we see a bone-stock Alpha tackling this trail with no effort and "Piece of cake!".

People hate on the H3 because it is so capable..but it is more often represented by the crowd that will put 24" spinners on it and never take it off road.

Jeep is going the same way. The Wrangler is the last solid-axle Jeep left, and the next gen will be IFS/IRS/Both. It's only by sheer miracle that the JK was solid axle.

"It's only hair". See where Jeep is going?

  • try and take your stock truck up there and see what happens.Bunch of clowns don't know crap!

  • why does everyone hate on Hummers so much? and wtf stop thinking H1 when you compare to a $40k H3 Alpha mid-size SUV, no shits it's not an H1, but that doesn't mean it sucks...

  • Actually, it does.

  • Hummers are not good off road, in shopping mall car parks maybe but they are not designed or well built enough for rough terrain, you need a landrover or a landcruiser.

  • your retarded.

  • fucking gay

  • Are you really? Thx for the info, I'll be sure to stay clear of you.

  • pretty shiny car, to bad a H3 and H2 is a joke to a real Hummer. They just look like chinese built toys for kids, whatever they are able to, it just wont change that fact.

  • Chinese built? Last I checked my Hummer had a GM badge on it. The manufacturing facility is in the United States. Have you ever owned a Hummer? I've owned six new vehicles in the past five years and the Hummer has out done all of them. Great quality and very rugged. I wouldn't even consider a buying a different 4x4. Unless, it's another Hummer.

  • They're still a joke compared to the almighty H1.

  • the manufacturing facility for gm is in mexico the corprate offices are in the us just a fun fact

  • You sound as if you might be jealous that you aren't able to do any of this @ Moab. Let me guess, you drive a Subaru....

    hahahaha

  • what happened to giving others some chances man?

I think they wont be that bad forever ^^

  • dude china JUST bought the name, they haven't made a single vehicle under the name as of yet.

Hummer has been owned by GM since like 1998, and AMG before that!

  • yea...and india owns land rover and range rover...and some third world country owns jaguar....

  • indias tata owns both land rover/range rover and jaguar.

  • Jeep and Toyota are FAR better.I can't wait to see the CHICOM built Hummers LOL!

  • They'll be better quality and hold their retail value longer, but be virtually unchanged...

In fact, nothing's changing at all except the parent company. They are even still going to get their 2012 facelift and powerplant upgrade to the LLT, replacing the Atlas. If you think GM's still not going to have their hand in this cookie jar, just because the parent company has changed, you're off your rocker.

  • Nice, just shows what a skilled driver and spotter can do!

But man, talk about an entuesiastic spotter though! That guy is on it!

  • im just saying that when ive seen these people TRY to off road these "4x4" or TRY to compete wit my stock 78 bronco ive always beat them in the mud, rocks, desert. which is sad mainly to the fact that i can beat them up steep hills whit a Carburated engine and they have their P.O.S fuel injection given that it has an advantage over Carburetor. usually it doesnt matter how good of a truck it is if only little bitches that are afraid to get there shit dirty or scratched drive it. and being sane

  • And I'm just saying that you're a hater. So someone doesn't want to take their brand new $40,000 truck into a mud pit behind your $700 Bronco. Okay. I can understand that. That doesn't deminish the fact that it CAN go there. As I said before, there are just as many Sorority Girl Wranglers as there are Soccer Mom Hummers--or even worse, Soccer Mom Cayennes. I never understood. You hate the H3 because most people don't take it offroad. How many people run the Nurburghring with their Cayennes?

  • im just saying that if you put that pos of an H3 next to a true off road machine that it will fail in comparison. in looks power and durability

  • So what's a true off-road machine? An uber-modified Jeep with 60" suspension travel and 40" tires?

If you take a stock H3 and compare it to a stock Wrangler, it'll be nearly as good offroad and much, much more comfortable on the highway. Then you start modifying it and fuck the rocks, go race Dakar.

Off the show room floor, the H3 will do anything 99.9% of the things most sane people want it to do. Will it follow a comp crawler up a vertical wall? No. Neither will a stock Wrangler.

  • I agree 100%. I often tell people the basic difference between our H3 and a Rubicon is that we can drive 500 miles and turn onto a trail as soon as we arrive, while the Rubicon people need a day to recuperate. And we can do it with 4 people and luggage for a week.

  • "the H3 was the best off-the-showroom-floor offroad vehicle you could buy that wasn't a Wrangler" That says it all and please do not call it a Hummer....they named it H3 for a reason....it's no Hummer and sure as heck isn't a Humvee.

  • Says what? That it's a practical vehicle AND an amazing off-road performer? If you consider a Jeep Wrangler a practical vehicle, you're smoking something powerful.

  • And I love the "I can do better with $10,000" comments.

Do it with AC, leather, all the creature comforts, good highway handling (If you can even make it street-legal) and then slap a factory warranty on it for $10,000..

Yeah. That's about what I thought.

  • I don't understand the H3 hate. It's a damned capable vehicle. The H3 has been said to be even MORE trail-capable then the H1. I've even seen reviews saying the H3 was the best off-the-showroom-floor offroad vehicle you could buy that wasn't a Wrangler. And that was in 2007, before the Alpha.

Stop hating. There are just as many Soccer Mom Jeeps as there are Soccer mom Hummers. Why the hell do you think they built the Unlimited?

  • because they are joke compared to a real offroad machine

  • So, what exactly constitutes a "real offroad machine"?

Until you're ready to give some examples, please, shut the hell up and stop hating.

  • how about a jeep for one, i seen what the want to be hummer can do which isnt much, i drive the real hummers, so talk to me when you got one fag

  • A stock H3 will go anywhere a stock Rubicon will. And it'll ford a shitload more water then a stock Rubicon will.

Unless you're going to be like every other dipshit in the world and compare a stock H3 to an uber-modified Jeep, at which point I'll just laugh.

Another Jeep fanboy. Imagine that. Don't see many Hummer owners hating on Jeeps..It seems to be a one-way affair.

Stop hating. Especially if you're going t hate for no reason then to hate.

  • i dont hate h3 i just think there a joke, and i dont hear about fording water, cause i got a stock x and forded more than 36in of water in that, im just tired of you guys talking shit sayin there just as capable as a wrangler, cause i seen more stuck than unstuck.

  • I've seen plenty of stuck Jeeps, too, so what's your point? If a driver wheels it poorly and gets it stuck does that detract from the truck's capability? No truck is going to make up for a dumb driver, and every H3 I've ever seen stuck was because someone didn't didn't listen to their spotter. There are videos all over this site of stock H3's doing some incredible stuff, and yet you still get the haters who are either blind or just too stupid to comprehend what's going on in front of their eyes.

  • yes, but it also has to do with the driver. You must be a good one to get it in 36in.

  • yeah i didnt find out it was that deep until my hood was under water and my interior was flooded, it was at rausch creek in pa

  • I agree.

  • I am totally agree whit you man !!!

  • dont get an h3 its a pice of shit

if anything get an older truck

    blazer,bronco,scout,jeep

  • I love the H3 and Im thinking of buying 1 but I think the tires are to small. If I lift it to but some bigger ones will it effect its off-road capabilities?

    plz reply

  • p.o.s.

  • dont be jealous

  • not even close. good try though.

  • this is the best car of the world....

  • what if i dont get a word at all.

  • there isnt a starbucks in moab, where the hell is that hummer going??

  • h2 and h3's are gimmics. h1 all the way! or even better......a deffender ;)

  • very nicely done, wow

  • You should have stoped him. He could have got someone killed in that thing. Next time let him borrow a yoda or jeep.

  • Holy shit that's scary.

  • My Jeep would dominate that...HUMMERS SUCK!!! but not the H1

  • i really luv the h3 alpha but the mpg is really low..

  • For anyone this may concern, in 2011 Hummer is comeing out with a 6.0 h3 starting at $47,000. the new h3 smallest motor will then be the v8 5.3

  • BAAM, I may have to consider that

  • feisal, perfectcheeseburger ur just a piece of shit who cant buy a motercycle

tlking abt hummer u cant even buy wheels of hummer

  • A Chinese company bought the brand because our beloved American company (GM) had its head planted firmly up its ass and had to be bailed out by our tax dollars. I guess I fail the see why yelling "chinese!" is negative at this point. GM f-d up, quit rewarding them for it.

  • gm, ford and chrysler did not F**K up, other people (the stereotype suburbanites who buy pickup trucks, minivans, and suvs) F**Ked up them.

  • How you can say GM didn't f**K up is beyond me. They have mostly produced bland vehicles that hardly anyone wants. If the American people f**ked them up in any way, it was a result of a free marketplace where they werent forced to buy their mediocre products. The newer vehicles coming out are better than before though. I actually like the Hummer brand, and I nearly bought an H3 last weekend, but couldnt do it due to brand stigma and the possible Chinese sale. I bought a Wrangler Rubicon instead.

  • Wow! your a Dumbass GM's sales for 2008 were almost equal to the that of Toyota you idiot

  • good car

  • MADE IN CHINA!!!!!!!

  • now it is but i got my dad a h3t in feb and it was made in lousiana

  • i could do better with $10,000.

    enjoy your bunny hills hummer.

  • HUMMER IS MADE IN CHINA!

  • GM Hummer SOLD! ......like a prostitute to the CHINESE !

  • oh shut up u dont know what ur talkin about

ur just whiners that cant afford one so dont judge a hummer by the people that buys the because they offroad great so shut ur mouth

  • but they don't...

  • Hummer H3 is just a luxury car made by yanks who know little about 4X4 technology. The Landrover defender 110 would do that in under 1 minute without being guided. Landrover 110>H3!

  • hahah you Californians and your hummers, y'all make me laugh :P Tell me did ya really need the spotter? I mean really?? REALLLLY???

  • sweetbilly, i don't know much, but i do know that climbing that there rock no walk in the park.

a spotter is completely logical to prevent idk maybe getting stuck or fucking up his nice expensive car

  • I have an 06 H3 and with 4.56 stock gears, climbing is its sweet spot

  • i love lamp

  • Jeeps suck their own!!

  • I have one of these and i get crap for it all the time, i grew up in the sierra mountain region 4x4ing please, oh and yes im a 5'2" girl ;)

    <
