@MrTrackstarzz Your kidding right? Mazda hasn't built a true sports car since the RX7. All they do is slap on turbos and beef up the suspension. People that don't know anything about cars are like i'ts so cool, buy it and realize how much they suck. Read the mazda forums all they ever say on there is "trying to keep up with an evo." Anyone can put a diesel turbo on a car and make it fast. If you put that holset on a geo it'll beat that evo hell even a vet. But that's only striaght line.
It actually is cause thats 220 to all four wheels not just two. its real weakness is probably the weight in this race, a protege doesnt need 300whp to go fast it's probably only pushing 240
I don't know what mitsi thought when they put the evo 10 together. It's butt ugly... I'm a fan of some of the older models but the 10 is an abortion...it deserves to lose almost any race it takes part into. Go mazda
@25tubes It's probably lightly modded. That holset turbo is off a dodge diesel truck and is freaking huge I'm talking about weighing around 40lbs and that's just the turbo. Google the size difference and you'll see what I mean (16g vs hx-30) In a mitsu eclipse, that turbo makes them run 10's in the 1/4 mile with supporting mods. Weight plays a big difference. Evo X weigh in around 3500ish + Driver.
@Malcolm24615 more like 105 hp lol i have one, and stock, it comes at 105 hp but, after market part you can get it too about 200 at the most with turbo, really nothing special
well hp should be about the same. just the old one is lighter etc ... not bad for an "old" modified car. cause its like ... skills vs technique ... the X has better traction anyway ...
