Patrick Fitzgerald is a sharp US attorney who always has his ducks in a row before he makes a move (consider his effective handling of of 'Scooter" Libby, for example).What I'm also recalling is how the most recently elected presidents fire all US attorneys shortly after taking office.Remember that both Clinton and Bush did it,and their administrations were democrat to republican,or,vice versa.Now,we have a democrat replacing a republican and I just wonder if Obama will fall into this pattern.

Jesse Jackson jr. if apparantly #5 on Blagojevich's short list of replacements of Obama's senate seat.Tony Rezco was a fun raiser for both the Governor and Obama,and he went down.The incoming White House chief of staff, Rahm Emmanual,is out of the same Chicago political machine and there just seems to be too many coincidental connections here that would lead one to think of the strong possibility that this 76 page indictment might just spread out to others.
