it blew me away the first time I saw them (this video was it I think)... neil murray playing around with a bass (I later figured out that he was actually a very tall man xD), cozy powell playing drums like they were childrens toy and sykes just crying out with his guitar... and then of course coverdale... dammnit, I fell in love immediately :D

What a mistake to get rid of or let Sykes go. I realize Coverdale has always had great guitar players with him but the whole isn't always the sum of it's parts. Sykes/Coverdale were a great combo, better than Coverdale/Vandenberg or any other recent combination.
