I find it funny the way people mix pussy and asshole. The good work as an actor should never be confused with the person as a citizen or individual. Apart from that he was found innocent later. To me Baretta will go down in history even if Robert Blake had been found guilty.
this show was great... people shooting up, gay hustlers, hookers galore and that bird.. i grew up on this and kojak and streets of frisco...i was never sure what city Baretta was set in, anyone know ?
Hugh Jackman does a pretty good job as Wolverine but I think Blake would have a perfect fit! Blake`s size and looks and his naturally surly attitude would have been just right.
Robert blake was one of the first actors that i did an impression of when i was very young. If i were to do an impression of him these days, no one under the age of 47 would no who i'm doing, now thats sad to me. The Baretta charactor was one of the most charismatic figures the late 70s.Bring back Baretta, and stop with all the reality shows ,its really getting out of hand.
Dying to see my MAIN MAN -you know da Rooster - eggha hmm whye deh Pimp at??
Someone please post him talking --ain't nobody jayving like he used to -- love his shtick! There's nobody like his feather and the bell bottoms with platforms--please post him talking--
Robert Blake and Herve Villachaise would have made one kickass TV crime fighting duo... didn't Hollyweird writers ever think of pairing the two together?!?
Hey... baretta owned one of those cockydoody boids...
I was 5 years old when Baretta started so it's too hard to remember what happened other than people getting "busted" and a guy named Baretta with fancy tricks to reveal the truth. Hawaii 5-O and Chips, same thing.
I loved Baretta and Fred when I was a kid, even bought the music score on a 45 rpm. This was excellent and I agree with melollylolly this should be shown again. I remember writing to Robert and 3 months later a fantastic 8 x 10 autographed colour photo and letter came from Robert. I had to be restrained as my young pup chewed half of it up before I got to it as it came through the letter box. I still have it tattered as it is. Fans usually last for life whatever happens so God bless Robert. xxx
someone PLEASE upload baretta--or show it on TV Land or something --tv execs are such cowards--instead of great TV--they worried about some actor's reputation--come on FUCK THE REPUTATION--if the actors have talent and personality--let us viewers be entertained with their work; please!
@melollylolly yea no shit bro..... them same pieces of shit play michael jackson all the time. and hes a fuckin diddler....... discrimination at its best..... down with the white man...... its a minorities country now... sucks being white
@highwaymaen - being "found" not guilty and doing a crime can be both true- just because a jury finds you not guilty does not mean you are not the "PERP"
I know right...I'm DYING for SOMEBODY to bring back Police Woman so MAYBE Sony will finish relasing the rest of the show on dvd...one season ain't enough.

Also, Blake won the Emmy for best actor in a drama for the first season and got a standing ovation for winning.

Hmm....so if you're white Not Guilty means Innocent (Robert Blake)
But if you're black Not Guilty means Guilty But Just Couldn't Prove It (O.J. Simpson)
Interesting....
