I LOVE this ride. I rode it yesterday (July 10) and it was definitely my favorite (until I rode Superman) Who cares if it is shaky, that's also the fun of it. xD and the rattling didn't scare me like I thought it would! Amazing. :)

So, a week ago my family and I were about two rides away from going on. And then the ride stopped. People were at the highest point and stopped. They were up there for about an hour and a half in 105 degree weather, they attempted to climb down, but it ended up being too steep. Before the ride we took a bathroom break, if I hadn't done that, I would've been stuck. Just thought that was pretty interesting haha.

i was just on this yesterday & the ride got stuck at the very top of 0:25. i wasn't on the ride when it was stuck but i was next in line for it. It was horrible when i got on later in the day. Lookin at the "staires" was bad. Some lady was carrying a baby down that! Can you imagine that? Being in the burning hot sun, stuck up there for an hour? i dont think so. It's scary. The ride hurt my neck, it was way too shaky it hurts.

Then a few years later or a bit less...they shortened the drop to 125 feet.... *frowns* I rode the coaster after they remodeled the drop...

The "old" Texas Giant " at SFOT rattled" more than the Rattler, in my opinion

Hey, i went to Fiesta yesterday & there was a sign up at the rattler that said "This Ride Is Closed Down For The Season". See, well, sometimes when they are testing it or fixing it, i think they have that up. I really wanted to ride it for my first time but it was closed. Has anyone heard or know why it says it is closed for the season? All the other rides were open, even the Log Ride & The Gully Washer. During Holiday in the Park they said she rides will be open so maybe rattler will.

The tracks shake on purpose (if you are talking about the support beams). Engineers do that so they won't wear the support beams as fast as other rollercoaster support's, because that is a lot of force acting on the wood, supports, track etc.
