This was after a reboot, so nothing was loaded into memory. Building and parsing is more CPU bound, so the performance impact of the SSD aren't as huge as in other applications.

I must say .. I'm not impressed. Got about the same time on a Core2Duo 7300 with a 7200rpm sata hdd .

DUUUDE ZOMG!!! I cannot fucking believe it how fast the "Add reference" window popped, especially the GAC tab.
