  • Thank god u break ur engine in with out letting it idle

  • Thomsonfly212: This is the break in for real competions engines. They have a another procedure doing the break in.

  • does this method make the engine break because some people say let it idle for 1-2 tanks of fuel then slowly start to increase the speed as u get through each tank ??? please reply i want to buy one

  • thanks for the advice mate.really like the track you use,& the Buggy looks good..!

  • no cam!!!!

  • thank god for you man , i could't get my rc8 to start , i even took it apart thinking it was broken, and then i saw your video , we need peole ike you , im running my rc 8 like its no tomarrow thanks and keep the info comming.............

  • did this method work of beating the shit otua it on a b

rand new erngine or did it blow up shortly after? get back to me please

  • the method u have done , seemss making sense, but has it worked well compare to other methods?

  • How many gallons do your motors hold their compression for from this method? I have to get a new motor soon so I need the best way to break in an engine

  • if i was to do this when it is cold would i keep the foil/sock/fome on or not

  • unless its ringed i have NEVER broken in an abc engine. and mine all run like hot shit on fire. maybe just luck.

  • The reason I prefer to heat the button is that we temp at the button. We know the sleeve starts to expand at around 170 degrees at the button so that's a more accurate way of knowing what your sleeve is doing inside the case. Another reason why I prefer to heat the button is that my primary focus is the expansion of the top of the sleeve. Both ways work though.

  • @mrfranchize02

    HEY BRO

how many gallons you get with this method.

    thanks man.

  • Lol @ lambofgod1372 ~~ another know it all,for YOUR information & any1 else you have mis-guided with your WRONG info,

It IS "BDC" bottom dead center

    Not "DBC" dead bottom center,.

And yep i agree heat the "crank" case not head

  • i read in an article and it saids: very rich full throttle 200 f low Rpm`s. How do i do that???

  • what temp do you run the motor at when it is tuned

  • 2:10 my god what a jump! nice landing :)

  • Nice track!

  • how did you startit without pulling the pullstart????

  • really?

  • @RcMaster96 Lol you moron, racecars dont have pullstarters

  • Nice car, I used similar method with my Reedy 121vr in my 8ight 2.0

    Sweet track too.

  • @MP422ownz Youre running a Reedy engine in a losi? Wow... thats like running a ford engine in a chevy

  • What is BDC and how do I check it?

Doesn´t an hair dryer does the same tinhg that your heat machine does?

  • but on a much bigger scale, with a good one, you can melt solder!

  • Its actually DBC not BDC, and it means dead bottom center which is when the crank is turned to where to piston is at its lowest point. Obviously a hair dyer will do the same.

  • @lambofgod1371

BDC is correct (Bottom Dead Center)

  • its bdc... dont try to force misinformation upon us.

  • part for this motor

  • You need to lean the bottom out with those low speeds at the start of the video!!

  • Would you recommend the heat cycle break in for a big block ??

  • .21 is a big block

  • you should be warming the block ,,,not the cooling head bro,but you have the right idea anyhow.

  • I agree he should have added some het to the block.. But heating the haed does put heat in the sleeve which is where it is needed durnig break-in..

  • I also lean an hour after every tank or cycle of running. As per OS instructions.

Also to first timers out there if engine doesn't start right away, DO NOT keep trying to get it to fire. Re heat and try again. That is a good way to break a rod..

  • Do you know the factory setting for that engine???

I have one but i messed up the needles and i need the factory setting... Im having trouble starting the engine and i heated it up and did everything but i can't even start it to break it in it's so out of tune!!!! So do u have the factory setting???

  • Stupid question...what heat gun are you using?

I'm in the market for a new one.

  • great video, I just got one of these engines. Do you have any tips on break in? Also would you recommend idling the first tank?

  • where is this?

  • Wolfpack racetrack, Hot Springs Arkansas
