Watch the Penn State Michigan State game from last year. My logic isn't that. The thing with the Big Ten is they recruit not only according to their talent, but how they fit with the geography. Passing games aren't too successful in the Big Ten condition. Therefor we recruit more towards the running game. It's a interesting logic, but I'm just throwing out there that the southern teams get an advantage out there.

Two years before that, USC beat Arkansas by a combined 120-31. But of course, those wins don't count for anything. If SEC teams ever played a real OOC schedule they would know that they aren't that great.
what are you talking about, the Pac-10 teams besides USC play just as many cream puffs as the SEC, and the rest of the conferences. USC deserves a lot of credit for playing and beating good OOC opponents, but don't even bring up the Arkansas win last year without first remembering that McFadden didn't play. LSU played and beat Arkansas with McFadden last year in Arkansas and UF did the same thing on a neutral playing field. Tenn raped Cal the year before and Cal was competitive in the Pac10

Yeah, I talked to several OSU fans during the Championship game last year in New Orleans. They told me OSU doesn't even have a student section. Said something like the OSU president said he didn't want the student sitting together during games.

On a side note, LSU fans registered 123.4 decibels in the VA. Tech game and 129.8 decibels against Florida. Making the LSU crowd/stadium the loudest in the Nation. Also not forgetting the 1988 "Earthquake" game against Auburn where the crowd generated enough noise and vibration to register on a seismograph. There is no other fan like a LSU fan.

as I said before, if you had to play all those teams in one year your precious USC would look like a mash unit. You'll get your wins against individual SEC teams here and there (wouldn't be bragging about beating arkansas last year *ahem* stanford anyone???) but if you had to play in the SEC all year those cali fags would have to use a shoe horn to get all the cleats that were shoved so far up your collective asses from being kicked up and down the field ;)

Haha... I can see why the academic standards are so much lower in the SEC anyways. Of course, hypothetically any SEC team would crush any Pac-Ten team, but when they actually play in real life it just doesn't count? 7th place in the Pac-Ten this year beat the SEC runner-up. Two years before that, USC beat Arkansas by a combined 120-31. But of course, those wins don't count for anything. If SEC teams ever played a real OOC schedule they would know that they aren't that great.

what are you talking about, the Pac-10 teams besides USC play just as many cream puffs as the SEC, and the rest of the conferences. USC deserves a lot of credit for playing and beating good OOC opponents, but don't even bring up the Arkansas win last year without first remembering that McFadden didn't play. LSU played and beat Arkansas with McFadden last year in Arkansas and UF did the same thing on a neutral playing field. Tenn raped Cal the year before and Cal was competitive in the Pac10

no. the difference is the teams USC plays for their conference are cream-puff teams and so are the teams they play non-conference. where as LSU plays consistantly ranked teams for their conference and tosses in a few cream-puffs..despite the fact one of those cream-puffs was Virginia Tech who actually was a good team. getchashitstraight.

SEC teams have to play 8 conference teams plus a BCS team (UF plays Florida State, UGA plays G.Tech, S. Carolina plays Clemson, LSU played V. Tech this past year along with Oregon State and Arizona state years before that) and typically our bottom feeders are better than the Pac-10's. Sports analysts have compared both conferences this past year and the top of the Pac-10 would compete and beat some the SEC's top, but at the bottom, the SEC dominates. That's why analysts say the SEC is tough.
