Thanx for the Vid, I have acquired the 200 firebricks from a potter for $100. and have blocks for a base, so i am gonna give it a try. hahahahaha. Thanx G.
@Hamish121212 No door needed for pizza, but I do have one I put in after cooking pizza to make stews. You need a good clay pot (ceramic breaks - I learned the hard way).
@rMwigton I like the size. It can cook 2 pizzas at the same time, which is plenty, as we usually have a 2 hour cooking session and people eat the pizzas as they come out.
@rMwigton Thanks! I was considering a Pompeii, but honestly I couldn't figure out how to build it, so I went with the "arch" style, which made sense. After one year, it has made hundreds of pizzas and we have had great family gatherings lasting hours.
your daughter is hot!

The motar you used is it safe? It looks like you put color in it. That could put off a chemical that's not safe..

Hi there. Is that the finished oven? Don't you need a smaller door arch? And a door?

This style oven doesn't need a chimney?
mtownlobo 1 year ago
@mtownlobo No chimney needed. I have a removable brick in the top, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

@mtownlobo Why does it not need a chimney.

Did the $1000 include the cost of the rock wall Base thing. If not how much was it without it.

@snork707 The base was separate. I had the wall already, so I just put the bricks on the bottom.

do u regret the smaller size??? I've heard the smaller ovens heat faster, but are more limited...... do u agree??
