The 'tank' truck isnt a Hummer the one with paddles is. The one with tracks is a pick up truck looks like a ford grille on it but not a hummer. MAYBE an M1152 body but i doubt it....the 1152 is the Hummer 'pick up' body

No mods, we bought it at a swap meet as is. The only thing we did was switch out the original speed control for a Novak Super Rooster ESC(still has 1 original mechanical speed control for sterring. )

most traxxas vehicles are waterproof, mud is just like water, except (for the most part) for thicker, and different color. the only thing that can mess the e-maxx up in this video is maybe the owner took the servo and disassembled it and possible put it together wrong. other than that, maybe he didnt wash off the vehicle and left on the mud too long and messed up the gearing. traxxas rocks!

nitro burns hotter and is harder on the engines, and is more expensive. gas will last longer, but have less power

Electric- usually the least expensive, easiest to run, least amount of maintenance, but they have the shortest run time.

Nitro- fast,fun and loud, but require the most effort to run and maintain and are the most expensive to keep running(about $20-$25 a gallon for fuel.)

Gas- gas powered vehicles are the biggest, have the longest run time and run on pump gas/oil mix, but generally are heavy and sluggish(hpi 5B is the exception) and there isnt many under $1000.

Most of the passes were made in second gear, but there are a few when I dropped it into first(after the mud doubled the weight of the truck.) Its not that I didnt like the 550's, they have plenty of power, but I have had my E-Maxx for about 8 years. Now, since I burned 'em up along with my EVX, I have a good excuse to make a change.

Well, at the moment the E-Maxx is still sidelined,and until I decide what ESC and motor combo I want to go with its just going to have to sit on the shelf and look pretty. I have been planning to edit up a video showing what I was doing when I fried my stock running gear, but its been almost a year now ... maybe I'll just post the video as is unedited for now.

Hey 69migyes69, the monster truck(with the hummer body) is a Traxxas E-Maxx. It is electric and gets its power from 2-550 sized motors, and 2-battery packs. The tires on it are panther's paddle tires and they cost about $50 per set($25 per pair,) Pro-line has some paddle tires too for about the same price but they are more designed for running in the sand.

True the mud could have been deeper and/or more sloppy, but that there took about 3 hr. to make. It started as rock hard dirt, dug up with a shovel and hoe, and the only way to get water out there was in 5 gal. buckets. The original plan was to make it a 25'x25' square mud pit, but half way though we decided to just make a single mud drag style strip.

i have a basiclly stock emaxx to except for aluminum bulkheads, aluminum shock towors, aluminum chassis braces, robinson dual friction clutch and a pair of radioshack 3300 nimh batteries and a pair of power plant 3900 batteries. the batteries and the clutch were the best things that i got for it

Its a Heavy Metal monster tank and it didn't come with that body. You wont find one for sale but if you want a tracked vehicle you can buy a Kyosho Blizzard from a number of online hobby store or probably ebay.

Wow, Im suprised you still has a VX 12, that recall was like 5 years ago. The VX 12 was really sensitve to moisture, I went through a few of 'em. Before the EVX was released I went with a novak super rooster and 540 motors just so I didnt have to deal with the VX 12.
