Is it possible that the father had a wacky idea of letting this thing rise to a few feet (maybe 20 feet) with his son Falcon in it just for a ride, and the parents went inside the house for a minute, the kid (Falcon) climbed out while the parents weren't there and it was supposed to be tethered to the ground so it wouldn't go anywhere? Falcon didn't want to do it, so he hid when he heard his father yelling (And clearly kicking shit over).
