The Makita is supposed to be just as good as the Dewalt, but I'm afraid I don't own any Makita as it has never been available at the right price for me. I have not done much cutting of MDF but I would guess it's no harder than chipboard, so it should cut the 36mm that you require. Thanks for the comment
@man0z Hello mate, i have this, the makita BSS611Z, and i can tell you it cuts MDF perfectly, i cut 22mm high gloss MDF panels for kitchens and the makita is great, i was totally blown away at how well it cuts and these 22mm gloss panel are very hard, so hard it will snap a 32mm screw half way if driven in directly without pre-drill, even when the battery is low you can still manage to get 2m of 22mm gloss panel without stopping
nice informative video,thank u sir!

@baggleman
Thanks.
You can get the gloves direct from ARCO, or if you check ebay for gripz lite you can find them for just over £1 a pair plus post and packing.
Thanks for the comment

Great video as usual. How would the makita BSS611Z compare to this? I want to cut 18mm mdf (preferably double stacked, so 36mm)

@holman26
I think the Dewalt DC515N will fit straight on to it, but most vacuums should fit it with an adaptor
