Looks like they went from Andy's Gold to Gold Chute #1, not a particularly scary run in of itself. . The official entrance is up by the patrollers' hut. There's sometimes a passable goat path (though not for me!) on skiers' left (where their "bad idea" exclamation was) but the easier way out (they're not exactly Glen Plake) is on the right. I suspect Darwin will have them, sooner or later.

You think that is bad. Ever been to big sky? The tram goes to the very tip top. You can't even get a snowmobile up there. I'm in the tram with 2 old people and there 3 kids. On the way up they ask me if there is a restaurant up there. They ended up going down a gully one with the kids and had to be rescued by ski patrol. Let this be a lesion. If your not from a big mountain resort stick to the blues because there double blacks where you come from.

I was at the bottom of the lift when the slide went off. This was an avalanche. Even if it doesn't look like a big deal on the video, the slide ran to the ground, and these shit heads are lucky to be alive. May they stick to shuffleboard in the future and not endanger the rest of us.

i think the avalanche happens around 6:40 when the one guy yells "avalanche" and then seconds later he's 100 feet away and down a 40 foot cliff. and then around 7:42 he looks up slope and you can clearly see the crown and bed surface (you'll have to look these terms up).

but yeah, you're probably right, there most likely wasn't an avalanche.
